@@doom5895 streamlined gameplay because no one wants to play a game that's even older than me how it was played longer ago than when I was born LOL The NES games are FULL of examples of HORRIBLE programming. They fixed that. If you like Jank, I'm sure you can just play the originals then.
@@dew-it8744 Nah. Don't listen to him. It's not that easy. I play FF3 for, like, more than 10 times both in original and DS remake. This is the closet to the original. If you are the first timer, you will definitely struggle in some dungeons. And selling Pheonix Down is not that bad (it's being sold in the final dungeon in original anyway). You still have chances of getting wiped out before or after you revived your party members. The DS version, though. It's freaking easy. Some jobs, like Geomancer, are literally broken. They corrected those in this version.
@Nuttachai Tipprasert I can’t compare the difficulty of the DS remake to the pixel remaster, but I still struggled in the remake. And I agree that the geomancer is OP. But I still will play the DS remake, mostly because of nostalgia.
In ff3 and 5 the "horns" are implied to be accessories considering that job changes are pretty much "dress up", although other final fantasy games takes the approach that the horns are real.
dang, huge improvement if you compare it side by side. but i want more improvement. they could have redrawn everything again in true 4k artwork graphics and retain the gameplay. :(
I hadnt noticed til later gameplays in the oooold NES version but yes, since the Summoner class casts the final (and most konw) version of all of em, while the Conjurer has a chance to cast either lower version of it (like the single chocobo kick / dash) IIRC.
@@drmanhattan8599 I'd argue that Octo style looks great with DQ III so I don't see why it wouldn't work for the FF I - VI. I'd rather they spend quality time with developing a proper remake than this Pixel Remaster collection.

I lovethat the pixel remaster is extremely respectful of the original pixel arts.
It helps when the original pixel artist Kazuko Shibuya did the work on these remasters.
Finally someone with brain
Insultingeasy gameplay in the remake

Damn, the pixel remaster’s music hits hard. It’s even better than the original and the DS remake
The new gameplay is braindead easy
@@doom5895 really? haven't played it, but I know they added pheonix downs in shops which makes the game much easier and more convenient.

Man, Nobuo Uematsu decided to go for a Rock direction with the Battle Theme.
Finally someone made an actual comparison video. good stuff.
Thank you 😍
The remaster's music is super dope, kudos to them. I'll wait for my switch port or pass though
The Bahamut have 2 versions in graphic, one is monster and another one is summon. Too bad only 1 graphic at last.
Thanks for the video. otherwise I don’t even use summon until final dungeon
I always wondered what was that thing on that summoners head. Is it a horn?
yes

Bahamut needs a good orthodontist in his old age.
Didn't realize the summons has multiple spells

very nice.
This pixel remaster should be in octopath traveler style.
Total missed opportunity imo

IMO, octop style fit better with FFT and suikoden. Anything else would be called remake, not remaster.

Esse remaster só não presta, porque não foi o remaster do remake do DS, a história original do jogo, é uma bosta
O original de Famicom é muito melhor que a versão de DS.
