And of course one unexpected “tie” as well, meaning both the boss and the player KOed each other simultaneously on the player’s last life! Glad it was avenged 9 years later!
I’m not so sure about Touhou being harder tbh. I do know how hard Touhou is though, don’t get me wrong! You know what separates the hardest fights from the others? The amount of player wins in total. Double Hibachi on loop 2 has only 6 players that emerged victorious, the average TLB at its hardest in a bullet hell game usually has like a double or triple digit of players who prevailed in total for reference.
And history and gaming totals don’t lie! Only 6 people have beaten Double Hibachi loop 2 over about 20 years Only 1 person plus a tie has beaten Vier on Pandemonium over about 10 years. And of course Inbachi is still unbeaten in a full 1cc run to this day although we’re like 96% the way there to making it happen 11 years later!

You do realize you just spoke that in front of one, right?
Also known as the theme of the second hardest VG boss in existence: Vier! (Pandemonium difficulty especially)
reminder that only ONE person has beaten Vier on Strict Rule PDM
