Very nice! Did you get to choose the fittings Or its the same for all units? Doors, wall tiles floor tiles ect.
Sliding door came with the unit but I decided to change to a swing door. Vinyl flooring was provided for the hall and the room and I have kept that. Toilet and kitchen also came tiled so I kept that . Other than that toilet came with toilet bowl, sink and shower set.

Your CCS ... mininum 2 fan coil units is it? Anyway is this the Type II Flexi? But I don't see the extra 10sqm between the bedroom and the toilet....
There might be a option to take one only but it's better to check with Tengah Cooling. This design doesn't have the extra 10 sqm.

Did u opt for vinyl in your HDB package? Cos the living and bedroom already had vinyl flooring
No options. The flat came with vinyl flooring.
The living area are small..almost same sizes like the bedroom

Yes it does . Because this house signed up for Tengah Centralised Cooling .
Pre-renovation？？ But the air-conditioner already installed？Is this part of a package by HDB?
Air Con is part Of Tengah Centralised Cooling where the Air Con was already booked 4 years ago. Air con already installed before key collection..
Because Tengah has the central cooling Aircon system, you have the option to place an order for its installation when you first apply for the flat, which is at a discounted rate. The other option is to choose to install.the regular Aircon system using coolants, that you would have to install during your renovations.

Toilets and kitchen should be at the back..not the front entrance..cant imagine visitors sitting in hall and smelling stinking toilets...and also need some privacy for homeowners..too.😅
Thats what most if not all new units are like these days fyi..despite the unit size...
This is the latest design currently applies to all BTO 2 rm flexi unit (Type I & II). The only different from Type I from Type II unit is 10 sqm bigger and the kitchen is at the back instead of the front.
Please understand that the main purpose of the layout this way is actually to convenient the elderly, as this design in the 1st place is for elderly, then singles. Just in case some elderly wants to go toilet before going out or after they come home to prevent rushing, incontinent and fall.
And also majority of private studio sold outside also have their toilet and kitchen build near the entrance too, just that HDB 2 rm flexi doesn't come with a balcony that's it.
That's also the reason why 2 room flexi unit normally comes with grab bars and wall mounted shower seat too. But as the demand is getting higher from singles than elderly now, some of the projects actually remove the grab bars and the shower seat as there is a new 2 room design (open concept) which they called it the community care apartment which is specially design for age 65+ yo and above ONLY.
You do not know wat is 2room flexi is all about. Be reminded that it is not urs to purchase that is why you all over the place and making unnecessary comments. So pls shut up and move on go buy ur banglow somewhere else.
There is no smelling stink from the toliet in this design as I already live almost four years in this style of layout. Maybe yours is smelling even though your toliet is from the back.😂
Don’t forget hdb isn’t very smart, they lost money, so do you think they can afford common sense designer. Yes, agree hall way will smell of toilets
