This man basically invented the /term/ Swagger. His 80s and 90s stuff, just....it makes his later Ip Man performances even more impressive. To be that stoic zen teacher, having been an ABSOLUTE GIGA CHAD for like 30 years straight.
há ok então vamos deixar para trás e você Me bom
Oh boy without a joke I problem watched this movie like 50 times back in the day when I was a yellow belt. More than two decades later, it still gets me.
Dragón s dream came true

0:57......that kick is part of Donnie's style. How many times have I seen him do that move?? Too many times!! :D
beware the fighter that has pacticed 1 kick a thousand times
SssssssssssssssssssssXđaaaaaaaa
He does that and the wind up punch very often.
He did that in Blade 2 too lmao
Donnie's action scenes from the 80s and 90s were fantastic. Check out his fights with long time friends and training partners Michael Woods and John Salvitti in the Tiger Cage films.
He also fought liu kang in those films.
MICHAEL WOODS WAS ON SOME BAD MAN TING!

80s & 90s actors and movies will always remain the best I guess!
Donnie yen was one of the greatest back then together with Jet Li , Jackie Chan Hwang Jang Lee , Lau Kar leung, yuen biao, Fatty Sammo in Pedicab Driver.
Everyone great in their own performance!
Miss so much those years when there were no damn iPhones, only real games between youngsters!
You forgot Chow Yun-Fat the original Max Payne 😎
@@v-trigger6137 omg i hope that was a joke.😂😂😂
he was shit and never interesting enough til today. He tried but were never as good as those i mention. To hell with him.
@@assabirun679 Chow Yun-Fat isn't a martial arts expert. He knows the movements required for certain martial arts films but as an overall actor, he's better than all the others mentioned before. His style is completely different. But with guns he's the best by far. You can't talk in such a disrespectful way about one of the greatest Asian actors ever. Besides as a human being, he's the nicest and humblest superstar. If you don't like him, that's fine, but show some respect to him and his followers.
I hope some RUclips and Facebook inquisitors tell me what is worse. To call someone SHIT and GO TO HELL or just say literally to someone : "With all my respect, you can't be more ignorant" It's because I've not been allowed to comment for three days because you consider my comment as bullying. I've just reported that comment mentioned above with bullying. Let's see what you do about it. The answer is simple, nothing at all. What can I do if Facebook doesn't apply its own rules? Don't worry, this is my last comment. From this moment on, I'll refrain. I don't want to be warned and blocked by nothing.
He did put energy to his performance 😂
The voice overs always kills me in these movies.
Young donnie yen is my new aesthetic

One of the best 80s martial arts movies I’ve seen.
I would say one of the best ever, - 80's, 90's, 2000's 3000's or whatever.
THIS, - is how you do a perfect fight choreography AND cinematography.
Notice how many things are done in one take, while cuts are only
where it makes sense. Notice how camera angles compliment the
action, as opposed to confusing it. (and it never shakes!) The difference
between a masterpiece work like this, and all the modern bullshit - is like
the difference between Fred Astaire and them dime-a-dozen MTV bimbos.
Hollywood really needs to take notes 📝
That's why Hollywood gives now Donnie a goddamn break
It saddens me seeing my all time legeds and goats getting older and older when am still expecting much from them.........
Come On Donien
Come On Jackie Cha!
Come On Jet Li
Come On Sammo Hung
We still need your Martial Arts
Well guess it's time for you to start looking up to Tony Jaa Scott Adkins Marko Zaror and Michael Jai White 😂
@@gmsthelordiscoming5010 it's yes but the fact is i miss their game a big deal......
I would say, if you want to see fresh talent in martial arts cinema I would check the more recent historical dramas as they normally have good martial arts in them.
OMG Right
Well be Glad it did happen and we took inspiration and motivations from our martial arts legends. I mean it's like luffy said from one piece it's doesn't matter how old we all get, we can still inspire people to be better.
0:47 Hello Vancouver, BC!
Indeed. Coal Harbour, Downtown Eastside can be seen. It must be just after the Expo, the convention centre is already there, but none of today's glassy high-rises..
The back kick is his trait mark
Was?!? Hell any movie i see with him starting in it TODAY i grab. Action is always top notch.
Beautiful Vancouver
Hollywood actresses demand higher pay but none of them would do stunts like that.
Real talk. That woman cop in this movie is a damn superhero.
@@BlackWingedSeraphX @
Someone probably MissHeard
The men don’t do stunts like that either, so why are they getting such high paydays 🤔
Im sure im not the only one who noticed this but it is early Vancouver BC probably 1983 before the drugs took over and urbanization occurred .
A time when people bought homes to live.
this is Hastings street ; Remembrance Day Memorial park. a better time for sure
Donnie Yen = the last dragon
Donnie is overshadowed in this by the craziest chase and the torture scene. Click bait strikes again except this time I’m inspired to put Dark Sunglasses on and hunt for the actual film
1:58 this Michael Wong... cool dude. When i first saw the fourth movie i was surprised he had made a comeback after having died in the first one(or second one). It was sort of a reboot.
That's definately Vancouver pre skyscrapers

Cynthia Khan deserves so much praise for all the crazy stunts she's done.

he’s good, still nobody beats Jackie Chan.... let alone bruce lee

Jackie has no movies close to flashpoint or special id let alone ip man series
Both are amazing.. I'd like to have a fight with them.. I'd love to be kicked by those guys
fast? who cares about that?... jackie chan can make a masterpiece with his surroundings... he’s a unique talent... plus he’s donny’s inspiration.. after Bruce i’d say he’s the biggest star coming out of Asia
Black Adam ip man? flash point? are you serious? have you seen super cop? drunken Master? who am I? ... Rush hour? lol please... donnie yen is not known outside of asia... o yeah did I mention rumble in the Bronx?... bro go to youtube and put jackie chan and i bet you can find a song playing right now

Donnie Yen should have gotten the same push as Jackie Chan back then.
Donnie has been round more than jackie ever has... therefore jackie is the one who should of gotten a push from donnie period
