Thank you for this! I just joined the legion in June of this year and it's been such a wonderful addition to enrich my faith and devotion to our blessed mother Mary ❤

@@Hard_Car_Life No, he is fine. Just a normal reassignment. We just miss him a bunch because he was very beloved in our Parrish.

I grew up with a more lukewarm Catholicism with the rock n roll parents generation....at 21 I became a Mormon because they actually challenged me to do something. I left the Mormons awhile back but still have a brother doing it. It's been interesting to watch the Mormons from the outside and especially now as a practicing Catholic. It's sad because I probably never would have needed to get involved with them had the Catholics I grew up around actually taught me the faith and lived it. Catholicism has everything liked about the Mormons...the Catholics I knew just weren't passionate about it. Sadly I'm even seeing the same thing happen to the Mormons...they are getting looser and looser with their approach and it just looks like a corporation with the product being a Hallmark card version of Christianity. I agree they lack substance when you start pressing them on deeper things. When you do that with them they default to just trying to be a really nice loving person and this feels more like a manipulation approach rather than genuine. Like they think if they bake you cookies first then their Church must be the true Church but if you ask too many questions they run out of substance and default to offering you another cookie.
