I just love Dick York as Darrin. You can't help but find him kind of cute in his desperation. There was always an undertone of endearment. Which I think makes him an excellent antagonist in a lot of the episodes, without making him a villain.

It’s so funny just to see it in Darrin’s mind as if he’s saying to Sam, when Larry told him about his surprise. “Paris? Sam, what are you doing in Paris when I thought you were at home!” 🤣🤣😂. And imagine in Sam’s confusion of wondering what she’s been doing while Darrin’s stuck at work!

Well you have to understand also that in the 1960's formal wear for women had an understated elegance, just in general. It was not frilly at all. Jackie Kennedy was largely responsible for popularizing the look as well as the designers she used. Men's formal wear didn't really change either until the 1970s when tuxedoes were made in double knit in a huge variety of colors, some of the colors being pretty wild.

@@clarencedixon3290 I am 10 years older than you and I remember most of the decade of the 60's. I remember the first sports jacket I ever owned. It was in the very early 1970's and it was a kind of olive green. I remember thinking how sharp I looked in it. It was a very "in" color then, but no one would ever wear it today.

@@clarencedixon3290 I agree, but I don't watch television at all. I have a television, but I have never set it up to watch it. At the cost of cable tv or satellite today and for the little amount that I would watch it, it is just not worth the cost. I am not going to pay good money to watch reality shows like the Kardashians. Reality shows are nothing but making mountains out of mole hills. And from what little bit I watched of the Kardashians, I think all they do is ride in personal jets, eat salads and have traumas. That is NOT my idea of entertainment. Our television shows and music of our youth was leaps and bounds above anything today. And just for the record, when the Brady Bunch was on TV in the early 70's, we thought they were just as hokie then as people think that they are now. I mean we all knew even then that no one has a back yard made of AstroTurf.

I recently enjoyed this episode. I don't often laugh hilariously, but when Mrs. Kravitz gave her measurements as 32-32-32 I just couldn't help myself. I just pictured a rectangle with arms and legs. I totally prefer all the original cast members, which is something I didn't realize when I was much younger, and have a newfound admiration and respect for Alice Pearce. She must have worked so hard to achieve such a successful career.

Wow people talking about her dress. Well she look with any outfit and color scheme on.. she's beautifully photogenic..Well shaw around her looks ichy like a thick scratchy looking hanging drape over her delicate shoulders..lt looks too polyester looking. It makes me itch looking at it..its got to make her itchy scraping on.. She looks great in anything with her beautiful complexion and blonde hair the simplistic design that goes great with Elizabeth's fresh smile and innocent attitude would shine up any dark gloomy room..Shes got a darling personality and we will love the way she talks. we will wish we got to know her thankfully for television we can enjoy everything she does along with all the other actors and actresses and looking at the facial expressions of Endora always felt uncomfortable with somebody like that as teenager's watching the show. I always felt like she was like the fifth wheel always confrontational in a slide way.. I think it's those in the windows she uses now I appreciate appearance on the show.. she is funny watching and interpreting her expressions and poor Darren is the perfect match being in middle of this mind game..
