- In this video, I show you How to Install Fog Lights on a Harley Davidson on the 2021 Road Glide Special. Then after the Install, I show you how the Fog Lights perform at night out on the road. The LED Fog Lights used in the video are the Custom Dynamics Halo Fog Lights. The Fog Lights are plug and play and a great enhancement to the Harley stock Daymaker headlight as you will see in the comparison clips. @customdynamics

Here is a fact...motorcycles are more difficult to be seen by others when out on the road. Once way to give yourself a better chance to be seen is to add high quality LED lighting to the motorcycle...my thought is this, the more light the better as long as it doesn't look ridiculous. Check out this week's video and see how to install the Custom Dynamics Halo fog lamps. More importantly, watch the entire video to see the comparison out on the road at night with and without the fog lamps. The increased light and visibility could mean the difference between being seen and not.

Probably the best upgrade you can make on any bike , day or night its worth every penny , I like denail smartcan plug and play plus you can adjust brightness, horn , no switch needed, factory controls and you can set to turn off when you’re using turn signals
Thanks for watching and commenting. That sounds like a good set up as well. The additional lighting is well worth the peace of mind that you may be seen out on the road. I zip-tie the wiring along the underneath frame of the bike to the harness at the battery. This way, the wiring is hidden better going down the crash bar and no fuel tank taking off.
Thanks for watching and providing the tip on the wiring. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
Custom Dynamics makes some great lights!! I want to replace all the lights on my new road glide with them.
Thanks for watching and commenting. In the next few weeks, the 2021 RGS will be completely outfitted with @customdynamics LEDs. It's been about a year and a half process. Just a few more to go. ✌️👍👊
Nice video Rick, lights look awesome and functional for sure. 👊🏼👊🏼
Thanks Grant for watching and commenting. Much better setup to be out on the road. Ride safe and enjoy. ✌️👊👍
Big big difference. I have heard nothing but good things about Custom Dynamics.
Yes...I agree...big improvement...I just need to get final adjustments completed and awesome additional lighting to be seen day or night. 👊✌️👍
Great info. I have been wanting to put on some fog lights.
Thanks Mike for watching and commenting. It's a great upgrade. 👊✌️👍
Ordered mine this week can’t wait to
Install thanks to your video
Thanks for watching and commenting. You definitely won't be disappointed with the light output. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
They definitely light up the road ,surprised they didn’t plug into an accessory switch on the dash, great video👍👍
Thanks Darrell for watching and commenting. If you wanted to splice the switch, you definitely could connect into a switch on the dash...however you would need to get a Harley switch or drill out the blanks and add the supplied switch to the blank. 👊✌️👍
Huge difference, and I agree, the stock LED headlights are really not good enough.
Nice job, Rick. ✌️
Thanks Roger for watching and commenting. I appreciate your continued support to the channel. Ride safe and enjoy. 👊✌️👍
This is really nice upgrade especially that it enchance the safety and visibility and wow this is bright. Great video as always!
Thanks Art for watching and commenting. More lighting done tastefully can definitely add safety to the ride. 👊✌️👍
Looked like a beautiful sunset too! ✌️
👍
Any lighting that helps us be seen better...is a great choice!...looks good!...great install...thanks for sharing...stay safe out there!!😎👍🤙👍🤙🇨🇦
Thank you for watching and commenting. As you mentioned...it's really all about being seen and being able to see more at night. Ride safe and enjoy👊✌️👍
Great install video. This was one of the first upgrades I did on mine, great lights 🤙
Thanks for watching and commenting. It's definitely a big improvement with the stock headlight. 👊✌️👍
Nice video, I did go with the Harley version for my Street Glide Spec. I also like the finished look of using the dash switch, it’s a sharp and finished look I used for my Passing lights, cool flow fan, and fog lights. I just don’t like the look of those added switches in odd places, gives a homemade look I don’t care for. Nice vid! Thank you
Thanks for watching and commenting with your set up. Sounds like a very clean look. I looked at the Harley option, however they didn't have a bracket that firs the chopped engine guard. I'm curious where mounted the fog lights? Or do you have the full size engine guards? If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
I have a 2019 SGS that installed the chopped engine guard on. I added drop guards, highway pegs, and moved my fog lights from side mounted, to top mounted, inside. Works just fine.
@perezog Awesome. 👊✌️👍
@@perezog I do have the left dash switch from Harley. I may use it for one of the other bikes at some point in the future.
Nice upgrade 😮
Thanks Larry for watching and commenting. I appreciate your support. 👊✌️👍
Thanks

Great video. I’ll have to look into getting these
Thanks Bob for watching and commenting. These Fog Lamps are awesome. The Halo feature is great for additional Day Running lights. More light the better. Ride aafe and enjoy. ✌️👍👊
Also double check the part number for the ST. I believe there is a different version as the BCM lighting set up on the ST is different.
Probably should use some blue Locktight on those bolts.
Thanks for watching and commenting. That's a great suggestion. The main nut on the fog light is a lock nut so no need on that one. I'll definitely use some on the clamps once I get the final adjustments set. 👊✌️👍
Darnit I missed the premiere. I had the notification on too. I like the lights and output Rick. I’ve need thinking about adding some to my Chieftain. Great video as always buddy.
Thanks RJ for watching and commenting. They also have these for the Indian models. Check the Custom Dynamics website. ✌️👍👊
@@HDVIBE they have great products and are located about an hour north of me. My bag lights and brake flashers came from them.
@602North 👍
👍Good 👍
Thank you for watching and commenting. 👊✌️👍
I wonder if they also work on my 23 heritage with crash bars?
Thanks for watching and commenting. The clamp will definitely work on the heritage crash bars if they are stock. I'm not 100% sure if @customdynamics has a version of these for the softails. My suggestion would be to go to www.customdymanics.com and search by your year and model bike. Or call the Custom Dynamics customer service number and they will give you the correct answer. When turn ignition switch to accessory mode do the X portion stay illuminated or completely off?
Thanks for watching and commenting. The X portion does stay on when you turn the ignition to ACC position. Looks pretty cool. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you.
