The 7.1 is actually quite nice, becuase when i play Roblox i can hear players on my left or right but without 7.1 turned on i feel like everyone is in front of me so, 7.1 is actually good
my biggest reason for wanting this is USB-c. I'm trying to rid myself of micro USB cables. I have lightning cables that have lasted longer than the micro USB. My 2nd reason is that it is wireless. My personal machine is on my right and I have a speaker that can do a line out to headphones. The problem with most wired gaming headsets is that their audio port is on the left, not the right or on both sides. Wireless or using my beoplay h6s, which has audio in ports on either driver, solves this for me. I use 2 PCs - one for work and a personal one. It'd be optimal for this to also have Bluetooth so I can use Bluetooth on my work machine and the dedicated USB C receiver on my personal machine. However, I'm happy with exchanging the USB receiver between both devices if it offers me USB C charging.

Hey, do you solved the problem ? I wanna buy this headset for my ps4 . I hope the sound is good to hear the sound fps game and also foot steps, is that good ? also about when we open mic to talk in game how about this ?
I have the old generation of this headset- the ones without the "Core" designation. Can't stand them. Battery is terrible, bass is flat, and it sounds just muddy in general even after tuning the EQ in 3rd party software (EqualizerAPO). Charging cable was barely 3 feet, signal range cuts out around 15 feet, and I want to replace them ASAP. It was a budget wireless headset, and definitely acts the part. Hopefully they got their act together with this new one.
I just received them and I don’t like the stinger core at all. I’ve had the flights for two years now and I loved them. The stinger has a problem with the bass lingering too long. For example, I play csgo. I could run up with a p90, kill someone that shot me with an ak and get awped from 20 feet away…..I would have no idea who, where or what shot me. Maybe I need to get used to the sound but to me, the aren’t even close to the flight.
