I really love the full band, standard tuning version of Yesterday. I love how George's lead guitar mimics the original string section during some parts as well. I haven't heard this performance until now, only the one in Munich, and I love the quality and the softness in John's guitar tone.
The recording was standard tuning, this is just a whole step up from the recording. So instead of being in the key of F like the recording this is in the key of G.
this version is amazing, imaging them making this version but with the piano and some violins as well on the help album it would have made it even better
