There cones a time when reality sets in and you need to figure it out or crash and burn or know why things are the way they are and what God says for to do and respond. What do you do when they won't forgive
What about if they are an alcoholic? I have prayed for him for 30 years and 2 years ago he left me for another woman. He refused to give up the drinking. I'm heart broken. I have resolved to forgive but it still hurts. I don't want to take that hurt into any new relationship. Don't get me wrong, God has already been with me and healed me in many ways....just interested in your thoughts. Thanks!
So sorry to hear that the marriage didn't work out. But you're doing exactly what needs to be done in your case. You move on. Abandonment and adultery are both a breach in the marriage covenant. Its your time to move forward and in all honesty, because of the amount of hurt caused and the "alcoholism" in the relationship it wasn't the most healthy. If we would've connected prior to his leaving, it'd be a different conversation. Nevertheless, we have a video titled: the secret to forgiveness that I think will help you move forward in this instance
