Christmas Tree Chocolate Strawberries with Lights

- DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY = 9 (from 1 to 10) 1 = Easy and 10 = Hard.
MY TIPS: The degree of difficulty is up a notch with this one but it's worth it. Its vitally important the tree is centred well and the base you make must provide a solid foundation.
If transporting, I highly advise a person nurse it whilst someone else is driving and hold the base and trunk to keep it stable. I don't recommend wrapping or covering this one as the lustre colour on the strawberries can be easily marked. Also, by all means prepare the tree, lights and foundation in advance so they are ready to go, but I don't advise putting the strawberries on too far in advance or they may drip juices over your tree. Dipping the strawberries either the night before or on the morning of will give you the best results.
This centrepiece would be the talking point and highlight of the day and you'll be the star on top!

Gday Lichy you can prepare the base, lights and tree well in advance. But the strawberries i recommend adding on the day or otherwise not earlier than the day before. Cheers

So, I don’t have to temper pre-tempered chocolate. Just mix the two chocolates you recommended, melt and dip your strawberries or mold? Am I understanding that correctly??? I truly love watching my our videos. Very relaxing to watch indeed!! Thank you for sharing ❤
Hey there Danette, that is correct however the 50/50 method is only good for strawberries and not suitable for molds. For molds just use compound on its own or if using couverture, it must be tempered.
