Ed Gein's House Of DEATH || SCARIEST Place I've Ever Been || The Plainfield Butcher Documentary

- Опубликовано: 12 сен 2024
- Today i am uploading an episode which in my own personal opinion... is the BEST on the channel. I tell the horrifying, disturbing and somehow true story of Ed Gein... IN VERY GREAT DETAIL. I then venture out to a Town called Plainfield, In Wisconsin. To where Ed Gein once lived and performed unspeakable and disturbing acts to corpses and human bodies. The investigation part of this video is only 12 minutes long, so if you want to skip right into that go to about 28:00. This video took a very long time to produce so all support is very well appreciated. I'm Also trying to get back onto a Weekly uploading schedule. a lot has been going on in my life and i'm just now getting back on track. your support will continue to make my dreams possible, of making films. I hope you guys enjoy this one (:

Catch You All Next Thursday ONE WEEK.
Can you just talk normally please? I’d like to watch the documentary but that voice is grating on my nerves. You’re obviously putting it on, don’t do that!
Same, its a problem.
Agreed! Vocal fry does NOT make you sound better. Only brainless dimwits and valley girls think it makes you sound smart. Please stop.
Exactly! Dude sounds like he’s suffering from a bad cold and sore throat.
Did you pay for watching this ? If no, shut up. Don’t act like you are the big boss!
Maybe that's his voice?
Great video. I went up to Plainfield a few weeks ago and visited his farm, two murder sites, and family gravesite. It was really surreal to see all of the places. I expected the place to be all ghastly and ghoulish, but it was just opposite. Plainfield was really a nice place. Nobody bothered me when I took pictures there. It seemed like they are familiar with people going there. It's hard to believe this stuff could happen in a nice small town.
I Hunted that farm and partied there for several years. My brother n law owned it.
They don't bother anyone that shows up and takes pictures because they want to keep themselves separated from that part of the town's history. They accept that they can't change it but they don't openly acknowledge it. Hell I wouldn't want to come right out and say that someone I was friends with was a murderer and did horrible things either.
Is the deer hunting shack still there? There was an out house too. I haven't been there since 1996.
i would of went at night w/an evp recorder you could of heard the man himself..
@@jimwalker7486yes they are both still there. I was just there a couple of months ago around the first part of October.
That voice is so irritating. No-one talks like that
Your attempt at making your video scary by using a raspy, monotone voice was so annoying, i couldn't watch the entire video. You ought to just speak normally and let some somber music create the desired mood.
Interesting story but the voice was too much for me.
I appreciate the feedback! I agree my voiceover on this episode was terrible. I did in fact make some newer Ed gein videos with a way better narration if you wanna check those out!
Great video but the voice makes me want to clear my throat
A few mistakes: that early photo is not Augusta Gein; it's Bernice Worden, and the photo of Henry Gein is actually Elmo Ueecke, a neighbor of Gein who was on his property when Ed drove back to the farm with Bernice's body.
This is a really good video I find all of this stuff fascinating and I wonder how a human can be so sad and lost in their mind it’s really sad how some people turn out
Thank you for that kind comment!! I’m glad you enjoyed. I actually have another two Ed Gein videos on my channel if you wanna check them out!!
Ed gein legend tho.
Both his parents were sick and abused little Ed that turned him into a freak and monster.
I saw some footage and photographs that I have never seen before. It really brings that era back to life. Thank you for all your hard work !!🙂
Thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed!
I lived 15 miles from Plainfield Wisconsin in Lanark county. Hwy 54. Our cabin was on bolter lake. We used to hit up Waupaca, Stevens Point, Plainfield.
It's pretty amazing to know that both Ed Gein and Jeffrey Dahmer were born and lived in the same state of Wisconsin.
It is very strange
Taylor Schabusiness
Can’t believe you went there! Very scary but amazing!
Thanks man! I was shocked to be there too! 😂
@@theghostfileswhat is the address if you don’t mind? I’m in Wisconsin
i've been to plainfield. saw the cemeteries, the hardware store, and i walked around on ed gein's property. it was very interesting to see these places. but was ed's property scary or haunted? not in the least.
Amazing that no one bothered you during your sojourn on the old Gein farm.
@@michaelciccone2194 yeah, there weren't any no trespassing signs or anything. I parked on the street. A few cars drove by but nobody stopped or said anything to me.
Thank you for your informative video. I'm reading Harold Schechter's book Deviant right now. This true life story is absolutely horrifying; truth is stranger than fiction. He was really messed up in his mind to say the least. Sometimes you don't know what a person is like until you're alone with them. And God forbid they're a psychopath or some other mental illness. It is scary.
I read that book too. There was also a movie by the same name in the early 70s🙂
@@caveman3021 it’s called “Deranged”
@@GhostinTheFog420 Oh yes thats right ! Thanks for reminding me..I stand corrected😉
@@caveman3021 great movie tbh
@@GhostinTheFog420 I liked it too! It was filmed in Canada, and I believe the guy who played "Ezra" was the same guy who sold Arnie the Plymouth Fury in Christine
Good video. Looks like it would be a little creepy there
I go to where his house was in the video! It’s the last 12 min (:
There was a pine forest behind the deer shack. That and the outhouse was built by my ex brother in law, in the 80's
For 15 years ive photographed old abandoned farm houses- That outhouse would be in worst condition being in the elements since the 1950s
Yep : absolutely not from Ed's time.
My ex brother in law built the deer shack and outhouse. That's where I hunted.
@@jimwalker7486 House foundation has been long gone/buried, correct? Or did you ever see it when you were there?
@@WQ59BInv I was told it's buried,. We rented a front end loader one time and started digging around the the property. We didn't find anything, but made a nice 4wheeler track. I never saw the foundation, we didn't dig by it.
@@jimwalker7486 I wonder if anything would be there to find in the root cellar under where the house was.
Mike told a friend of mine they uncovered what they thought was the roof or hood of a car buried closer to where the hunting shack is (I believe), but that they didn't dig it up & re-buried it. This was way back in time.
The older, woman in the photo at the beginning is not Augustus, it's Bernice Worden, Gein's second victim.
I really want to watch this. But that narrator, so annoying. The fake deep voice, sounds like burping. Maybe it’s a bad mic. Was excited to watch it too.
Until a friend of mine showed me this movie titled "Ed Gein" which starred Steve Railsback as Ed Gein, I'd never heard of this guy and that his crimes were the inspiration for "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", or more specifically the character of Leatherface
So, after having watched that movie, you could imagine how creeped out I was about this guy
If not for his mother, Ed would have been sane and normal
How could you have gone there??? House was burned down right after his arrest?
Pretty sure it was rebuilt
@@shadowunicorn4997 no the house was never rebuilt. The people burned down the house in the first place so that people wouldn't come to the land and gawk
@@christophernash1846 It is reported it burned dn but no one knows who burned it after his arrest.
@@sophiebean2023 it was well known that the townspeople burned it down . However , no individual claimed responsibility.
I went to the property his house once stood
Ed Gein was very talented.
Great video. My autism is being affected by the sound of the narrator voice
LMAO same
Take your meds freak
wow!!! Never knew how bad this case was till this video!!!😮
I definitely did enjoy it thank u 4 sharing
Thank you for the kind comment!! More to come!!
I have watched every single documentary, bio, youtube , netflix has to offer! Even threw underground, and im a HUGE HORROR FAN, and im like you very interested in ed gein..forever!
Bro!!
YOUR VIDEO IS LEGIT THE BEST VIDEO OF ED GEIN EVER, !!! From the beginning , facts, creepy sounds, horror classic sound effects! 🙏✊ FUCKING GREAT GREAT JOB!, Even your voice!! All the REAL VIDEOS , REAL PHOTOS!!😀 AWESOME JOB! Lets work together bro!!

@@theghostfiles Such a Great Video!.. Im going to watch again!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!
Best video on Ed gein so far
Great documentary
Ed cut back on his food costs.
Another good documentary bro keep it up!
great joke, got anymore?
Awesome video .
The narrator does not have a pleasant voice however.
Great little documentary. Your voice is like listening to ASMR
Thank you! Very glad you enjoyed❤️
Great job!!! Great video and history!!! 👍❤️
Thank you Julie as always❤️so glad you enjoyed this one
The guy with the phone talking to spirits obviously thinks there are more dead people still on the farm - could be ! - the police should investigate the grounds very carefully to see if more people died there - could be Lot's of missing people there ...
Great video
Nice job! Did you have to find and pay the owner of the land?
No
Dahmer and Gein from the same state must be something in the water there in Wisconsin
Taylor Schabusiness
I thought he was put on trial in 1968 and found guilty and served his remaining life in prison.
The locals burned the home of Ed Gein because they wanted to have Peace and not have a morbid tourist attraction in the town, correct?
You can not go to Eddie's house , it burned to the ground not long after they locked this poor guy up
I know it burned down but... Poor guy?
Poor guy? Not going to be rude but I think you might be just as warped as Ed. This guy has issues no doubt about it but I wouldn’t go as far as poor guy. This guy knew what he was doing and didn’t have any remorse or empathy for his actions. His family didn’t help the situation either and I think it was the time period which I understand. Anyways you don’t know me but I thought it was kinda crazy to say poor guy he was a bit nutty.
@@futurepainthemaking9821 couldn’t have been said better!
Maybe not a poor guy but certainly pitiful. I'm like most people in that I have no patience for the 'not guilty by reason of insanity' defense but as one of his lawyers said "If he wasn't crazy no one ever was". More than anyone else my heart goes out to the cops who first had to search that house. I'm sure every single one of them suffered a lifetime of trauma from it. 24:59
i think ed really wasn't in control at all, i just feel like he really wasn't aware of his actions, he's one of those who really crazy. bundy , ridgeway, and raider were just a few, who were most definitly aware that what they were doing was wrong, they did what they did because they could
34:56 kinda crazy the thing said that cause ed gein didint kill 9 people but he killed 2 people and 7 other ppl suspeceted to be murdered
They need to go back to 1945 when Ed's Mother died - I would think it all started than - there is probably lots of missing bodies on those grounds !
Would love to watch all of this but can’t listen to that voice, just speak normal
Thanks!!👍👍👍
Damn. It's so hard to imagine how Americans in the 'Leave It To Beaver' epoch could process the world Ed Gein inhabited. Even to this day I don't think he's been equalled. While not exactly a serial killer (which requires 3 or more victims. Not sure who came up with that rule) no writer on the subject can resist writing about him because it's all so mindboggling.
Is that really an actual photograph of the incredibly unfortunate Henry Gein ? Do you swear ? Poor poor guy. The one evidently fully sane member of the Gein clan and look at the good it did him.
And is that truly a picture of Augusta Gein ? I've only started seeing that picture pop up recently. That sweet-faced smiling lady bears no resemblance to the severe reputation she's earned.
Since the bodies were already dead it's hard to imagine their ghosts are haunting his property but then again I'm no expert on what spirits do or where they go. If ghosts do exist two I'm sure are on that property would be Ed and Augusta. As for that outhouse it must have been Ed's. Who would build one there after the murders ? And I bet that firewood belongs to someone who's alive and well since it looks freshly cut. I can tell you one thing for certain - you would never ever find me on that land after nightfall. Especially when the moon is full because those were the nights Ed would dress up in his full skin suit and cavort around his front yard in it. I'm agnostic on the subject of the paranormal but I wouldn't take the slightest risk of seeing something quite that terrifying. Very very creepy and well done video. Last question - are you certain that was a photo of Mary Hogan ? I've never seen one of her before either.
I believe the dark voice at 34:25 says "maggots".
Weird hearing Sam Donaldson at the beginning. His Wikipedia entry says he was in the military until 1959, how could he be a news reader in 1957? It must not be Donaldson, but it sure sounds like him.
❤ The Gein House no longer exists. Pity in a way.
Absolutly Love your voice! Detail, and concept.
The voice is terrible, no need to use a creepy voice, let the story do that part. No need to use weird sound effects or "creepy" voices. Makes it silly imo..
But, as the nice guy I am, I did leave the video a like and watched the whole thing. But that voice made it so hard.
@@wesleyalan9179 I agree completely- I’m 10 mins in and went looking for comments on the narration. I’m torn whether to continue- it changes it.
Taylor Schabusiness
horror now is ten fold
They say a family of 5 went missing. They think they got lost and stopped and asked for directions.
Woahhh that’s crazy! I never heard about that but seriously I don’t doubt it. That’s very creepy thank you for sharing❤️
@@theghostfiles my mom when she was 5 or 6 over heard the parents talk about this. Plainfield, WI gossip, went up to the Upper Pennisula of MI
@@theghostfiles it would explain the evidence found at Ed's property. Minus car.

I have the original foot cast from Ed Gein from 1957. The video is on my RUclips page.
What amazes me about this video is the lack of repulsive scenes where the stench of rotted human remains fill the aircand nostrils of the men investigating. Too real to be fake but to fake to be real. Or did I miss something?😊
The dramatizations are not up to par.
for real dude
Ive got a lot of stories of hunting and partying on that farm. My brother in law owned it.
Ugh, I had a roommate who was obsessed with this guy🤮
Yuck 🤢
I don't talk to people.
Ok
This was a wonderful video
well you got to give ole EDD one thing at least he was able to save on groceries!
So sad 😢
Watched about 30 seconds but your obviously theatrical voice was a deal breaker, so I will watch a more professionally done documentary....
lol thank you, I was a novice film maker when I made this. I don’t blame you tho, shits terrible
If you are interested however I have two other GEIN videos where I use a regular voice and the quality is just much better. They should be after this one
It was Geen he killed 2 the rest he dug up from graves
So Ed Gien was only charged and convicted of one murder. Clearly not a serial killer. Unless you talking about the literal cereal that he was eating out of skulls. But dude was probably broke and about to starve to death. Had to eat something. So he got to digging. Where infact most of the remains came from. I think calling Ed Gien a serial killer on a social network. Is very irresponsible it kind of makes you look like a jackass you're going to do a documentary make it factual and as far as the outhouse it's really too new to be from 1957.
You mean ASphyxiation not
aphyxiation...
Good job..
MK ULTRA TO THE MAX

Looks like there was a hill on the side or behind the house..thN burned down I can see road..guess we will never know..that city would have exact coordinates..not that they.would give that out..they do not want you there
Just a bunch of trees
