After sitting in the new half ton GMC, I wasn't impressed. Sure the Denali Ultimate is pretty close, but the regular Denali is very blah. The Denali Ultimate pricing is crazy though. There's no flair or detail inside. Both Ram and GM have a leg up on Ford's plastic interior though.
Just got the same truck . Agreed the price is ridiculous….. but I don’t think that’s gonna be going anywhere anytime time soon . I will say it’s one of the smoothest riding trucks I’ve ever been in , I absolutely love it.. the engine is almost silent for a diesel . Interior is amazing. Stereo rocks!! Also paid 10 under sticker price. They’re not selling hundred thousand dollar pickup trucks like hotcakes they will deal with you on these..
People get crazy when it comes to cars and trucks. I sold my business and have plenty of money and feel very blessed to be retired at such a young age, but even though I could pay cash for this truck, I would never pay $100k for a tool…and that’s all a truck is, another tool. Buy slightly used for high trim packages, but if you’re just using it for work as just another tool in your toolbox, don’t pay $100k! Even if your business can afford it. There’s nothing wrong with a workhorse tradesman or bighorn and you won’t strap your business with unnecessary expenses.
About to pull the trigger on one next month, we have a 2012 1500 Laramie Longhorn and practically zero issues with it and 92k miles on it. Trading in our other SUV on it but we love our Ram trucks.
Out of all trucks I really do love the way the ram looks, however I had a 1500 that had countless transmission issues and I'm afraid the dealer experience will never allow me to justify a purchase again.
That price is ridiculous, and for a 2500? I have a 2018 Limited 3500 dually, crew cab, LB, 4x4, HO 6.7 with aisin and every option available on a limited in 2018. With only 43k miles, I may have to keep this one like my previous 2 Dodge diesels, for 300k+ miles.
I did a factory order in October 2022 and I paid for a wood trim steering wheel. When the truck arrived it was the leather wrapped one. Told the salesman he can keep the truck and walked away.. When you pay $110,000 CDN and Ram cheaps out on the steering wheel its time to get a chev..
Man what a good looking truck. Until you see Transforce tires, plastic mirrors, very low payload, fake hood scoop, and then the sticker. The interior is still holding up to the others IMHO.
I’m bias because I have a Black Pearl Crystal Metallic 3500 Limited Mega Cab HO. Here are some thing I don’t like. 1. Small fuel tank and fuel door 2. Mirrors aren’t color matched which suck. 3. Price for me in early 2021 was good. This one is CRAZY. 4. Transforce Tires- pretty much suck IMO but I will run them until late summer. 5. Phone charger for larger phones in a case kind of sucks. Other than those few things I absolutely love the truck. This Granite color with the midnight edition on this is beautiful. As far as the interior goes for 2023. Ram is still the best IMO. Once the 2024 GMC Denali Ultimate comes out, they might be behind at that point. I’m really hoping RAM steps up their game all around for their 2024 model year. It would be disappointing for another year of the same truck with these crazy prices while the other get upgrades. BTW- cab lights- If you don’t have cab light, is it really a HD, I don’t think so. 😂😂
Im looking at a ram 2500 HD, and only needing to tow a 8-12k I have a 8k travel trailer now I pull it about 5 times per year. I want to travel Around 500-3000 miles per trip around the USA I snowmobile 800 miles away round trip i would do that 5 times. So 10-12 trips a year total. I also use it around the city for work and family fun would you buy a diesel or gasser? I'm in Chicago and rams manual said 89 is recommended which is .20 cents more money then diesel I'm 50/50 can't decide help me out guys
Is that upper steering wheel piece gone for good or just a supply issue? I really liked that part of the Limited and Longhorn Rams. Huge Bummer if it is gone for good cause I want to order a Longhorn that has that...
With Ford and GM finally updating their interiors, I think it's a toss up for that category across the big 3 for 2023. Personally, I think the King Ranch and Limited Longhorn have the best looking interiors out there right now... though I am not a fan of the front end redesign and integrated bed steps on the 2023 Fords- I think it's a big step down from how they looked in 2022.
Not a fan of the Ram boxes… I’d rather have my bed. I think GM went ahead because I got in a Ram and the unroof shade was pathetically cheap!!! I found too much cheap plastic for a $100k truck!
Not getting the same cab from the 1500 has been a big let down. Instead they put a new interior in the old cab. Time for new transmission on diesel and full power diesel for 2500 as well. Still no telescoping wheel in 2023.
Thinks to all the mall crawlers out there nowadays who buy a truck to lift and put rubber ban tires on working them is a thing of the past to many diesel billys
This truck is ridiculous just like all the others in pricing. I cant understand if the diesel is “included” in the base price then why is it a 9,600 option? It seems like a double charge. Just like some of the other standard equipment that you have to pay for as an option. I can see if the hemi is a standard engine and you want a diesel there’s an up charge but this is stupid. If someone buys this truck at 101k they are straight up a total moron and just letting the manufacturers rip everyone off.
I would buy it at $75, but definitely not at $101. It’s really not much different than my ‘17 Ram. They’re smoking crack with those prices.
Even though limiteds aren’t my cup of tea, that is all I think this is worth as well.
Great work, as always! I'll stick with my 2022 RAM 2500, with the 6.4 hemi! I paid half of that price!
Yes, ram still got the best interior ram still got the best interior❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think Ram has the best interior period. My 23 is so nice and I love it. I have the Granite color.
Once the 24 Denali ultimate is out that will be the nicest interior. The ram has the best interior right now.

I have the same pet peeve regarding the mirrors. For what we pay for the night edition package we deserve painted mirrors!
Nothing beats Ram 🐏 🙌 👌

Beyond insane price.
When I was looking for my truck, from what I’ve seen the RAM has best interior, GMC is looking good though!
1800lbs of payload is so funny add a few people in that truck plus straps tools ect and ull be able to tow a lawnmower that's about it
It’s a nice looking truck , love the information 👍
Am I missing something?
Comes standard with the diesel, 10k diesel option.
Yeah 100% for a $100k truck that mirror looks low rent! 24 Sierra Denali Ultimate has the best looking HD interior I’ve seen.
That price is comedy. Hahahahah good luck RAM
Man what a good looking truck. Until you see Transforce tires, plastic mirrors, very low payload, fake hood scoop, and then the sticker. The interior is still holding up to the others IMHO.
Do they make a 2500 limited in gas/petrol?? Hemi motor or are they all diesel. Cheers
The diesel comes standard with the limited and they charge you for it??

Yes!! Clearance lights or go home!!
I got red katzkin in my 21 bighorn 2500 and its probably the best thing ive did to the truck besides the tune and delete
It's offensive to think that Chrysler can justify a 3/4 ton truck with half ton payload ratings at $100k! This is absolutely insane!
on the builder online, it will allow you to now build a Limited 3500 with a Hemi.
I'm planning on checking into having my mirrors wrapped once my 2500 with sport appearance package gets here.
Looks like my childhood call. Going to get Ninja Turtle Van for 102k. These prices are crazy!

They finally gave the HD the nice buttons on the steering wheel that the 1500 has. Not those ugly outdated ones they had before for years.
I have this truck in a 2022 with a mega cab and hemi. This truck is basically my truck with a Cummins for $24,000 more. How can this be justified?
… you said it.. Cummins Motor 😅 Why would you compare a Hemi to a Cummins motor 😅
I noticed that truck had fender flairs. But I've seen other 23 hds without them. What's the deal with that? Anyone?
Only the top trim levels get the fender flares. Tradesman and Big Horn don’t get them.
Laramie doesn’t get them either
Before even watching this video I can see that this truck has ram boxes. It must have a 1200 lb payload 😂
Ordered this truck and paid low 80s. Paying msrp is foolish
Does it come from the factory that dirty?
And no body talk about… now those truck are no distuck for read your trasmision fluid levels…
Still no telescoping steering wheel.
Yea, I need that! Can’t seem to get positioned the way I need to be truly comfortable
What’s up?❤❤❤
Hate the prices.....just give us a nice truck.....DOES NOT NEED TO BE LUXURY EVERYTHING.....Stellantis is smoking something......
My goodness that payload capacity is darn pitiful! No real upgrades for this trim!
Thinks to all the mall crawlers out there nowadays who buy a truck to lift and put rubber ban tires on working them is a thing of the past to many diesel billys
These manufacturers are getting ridiculous in their pricing.
Best interior. Way to high on the price

I hate to say it but plenty of fools will be in line to buy and upgrade to this truck
Too expensive!
Way to much money
Who does a review with a dirty vehicle. Smh
You should get a 23 Cummins
