I just want to correct your misconception of calling the Aetas Afro or Africans. The Aetas link to Africanis more than 60,000 years ago just like any human group outside of Africa. The Aetas are no more linked to Africa than their other fellow Filipinos. The Aetas may have dark skin and curly hair that resembles majority of Afircan but they are genetically more closely related to their neighboring fellow lighter skin Filipins and are also closely related to even Malaysians Thais and Chinese! so calling them Africans not correct.

They are actually the Ancient Filipino or the Natives. They're not just Afro-Pilipino. Actually before the Hindus, the Muslim and the Spaniards came, they were already established communities of Aeta and Ati people all over the island. And prior to that base on scientific studies Aetas and Ati people were decendants of aborigin from Taiwan (Formosa)

Dee, I so admire your energy, enthusiasm & for the respect, dignity and humanity you offer to everyone you meet no matter where you travel. You are a true & proper ambassador for not just Kenya, but also Africa and all the rest of the world that has a heart to love & respect human dignity regardless of their place and circumstances.
There are not many people I've come across in my life that I would care to say this about, but Dee, you I can. I think you are truly a giant among us!!. In some places in the world like Europe & America for many years we have a term for what I can only call unique and special people that transcend the normal. People with young hearts, but old & wise souls. We call them the " Indigo children". They are humanity's gift & future hope and I think you are one. You bring such joy, enthusiasm, positive energy & dignity to every place and people you travel to. Dee, you in this confusing world of strife and too much inhumanity are like gold dust. Thank you for sharing your world, adventures and letting us be a part of it. Xx

This reminds me of our villages in Grenada 🇬🇩 back in the days. It is crazy how much Africans around the world live alike. Same way we lived,, and many continue to live like that today.. If you look at the original people in most of these countries they have some African ancestry. That really means that other settlers came and assimilated into their culture and pushed them further and further back into those remote places. I believe its the same thing for Egypt, Indonesia, Australia and many other countries. I love to see my people from around the world. #original people.

It is good to note, the black africans in the Philippines made the voyage on their own via land bridges possibly 1,000 years ago. Their ancient lineage chose to come those islands. They were most likely the first inhabitants of the Philippine islands but were driven to the mountains with the arrivals of the Muslim Malays in the Visayas islands and then eventually by the Christian Spaniards in Luzon.

Pastor Christopher Jones, if you do your research you will know that black people were the 1st to be created and they are the INDIGENOUS OR NATIVE of ever land and to walk this earth!! Inspite of what you may hear other people say, they're the chosen people, because of disobedience to the ALMIGHTY our ELOHIM, they suffered and is still suffering the consequences of the choice made between obedience and disobedience!. DEUTERONOMY 28, LEVITICUS 26, the book is about us. Many other scriptures has proof as to who the REAL people of the book are: As a postor you still have a lot to learn!!

@@fellybilal They're not just "Dark Skin". Their hair and other features are obviously different. Their race is different from the rest of Filipinos today, but they're still part of Filipino ethnic group.
Though it's true that their genetic makeup is VERY unique different from Africans. The closest to them genetically are Melanesians and other black tribes living in Southeast Asia like Maniq of Thailand or Orang Asli of Malaysia.

They are not Africans in the way you think they are. Their ancestors left Africa 80-100k years ago while the ancestors of all other Eurasians(all other people) left much more recently. If you understand how family trees work then you'd understand what I'm saying. Everyone else are closer relatives to you compare to these people. You people are stuck on phenotypes. "Black" phenotype DOESN'T automatically mean African cuz black phenotype is the human default.

Thank you for giving special and loving attention to our Aeta group. Yes, it cannot be denied they look similar to the Africans.🥰
The Philippines is an archipelago of 7,641 islands. We have 134 ethnic groups in the Philippines, most of which are our indigenous tribes. We have slight differences in physical features... The Aeta group is one of our indigenous people, they have similar features with the Fiji people and the aborigines of Australia and other beautiful people in the south pacific. They also have similarities in their hair texture... But they are a distinct indigenous Filipino tribe, and so are our other groups such as the Igorots, the T'boli, the Ivatans of Batanes, the Bukidnons, Subanons, and the rest of our beautiful tribes. Calling our Aeta group Africans might lead to misinformation, but I see it as your friendly and loving gesture. You are sincerely appreciated. God bless you, beautiful sister! 😊🥰

Since the Philippines is called an archipelago, each part has pretty much have native Filipinos that lived there before any invaders came to the country. My tribe is among the many native of the Philippines. We are called Igorots and we reside in the mountainous part or region CAR of the Philippines.
As we travel from one province to another we can meet other natives who speaks a totally different dialect, so we need to speak Ilocano, or Tagalog, or English to communicate to them.

In our region here in Mindanao we have unique natives, like the natives in the area of Davao, the Ata's here have very high melanin in their skin, very beautiful dark sheeny skin, extremely high melanin you cannot maybe even find anywhere in the world, but their hair is very straight and streaked with blond locks that look like highlights... Their eyes are hazel brown. Not all high-melanin skinned natives in the Philippines are curly-haired as much as not all fair-skinned are straight-haired. The Philippines is like a salad bowl of various indigenous peoples, each tribe is uniquely beautiful. We are all Filipinos.
