I grew up in southern California. Watched parents love their children to death. Whether that was enabling them with money cars, phones, and apartments. While their kids had serious drug issues. They were footing the bill every time they should have gone to jail but they paid off people. Spoiling a child never results in a good outcome.

I think one thing parents should tell their kids is that it isn't their money when they don't work(hard) for it.

It's true my brother came from nothing and is a multi millionaire these days. My mum was a nanny for a rich family and the boy she looked after who got given anything and everything he wanted is a pill head drug addict who does nothing with his life.

Ive met a lot of rich people who wish I was their child, to be born a rich child is a definite curse. They do not learn the same, the same some poor dont learn certain mannerisms because they are poor, the difference though is being poor you can learn and be better and have a goal, but if you are born rich you are most likely not trying to become poor(there are a few) and therefore have no need to try to learn universal mannerisms amd survival skills
