ABOUT CHICAGO FIRE
From renowned Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf ("Law & Order" brand) and co-creator Derek Haas, the writer behind "3:10 to Yuma," comes Season 8 of "Chicago Fire." The family inside Firehouse 51 knows no other way than to lay it all on the line for each other. Capt. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) leads the Truck Company and brash Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) runs the Rescue Squad. The firehouse also includes Battalion Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker), a fireman's fireman. Paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) returns alongside seasoned veteran Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) and Randy "Mouch" McHolland (Christian Stolte), as well as resourceful firefighter Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo). Completing the team are dependable squad member Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso), paramedic Emily Foster (Annie Ilonzeh) and the newest addition, candidate Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende).

I love how that man at the end was so grateful and appreciative to 51
I didn't know the full episodes yet but I just started randomly watching these Scenes and they're soo good . I watched some scenes of Chicago Med too but that didn't catched as much as Chicago Fire Did . These Characters and there Teamwork and Storylines it's awesome to follow.
Chicago PD is a good 1 as well
@@alisharichards2291 I will give it a try , I only saw a few snippets of the Characters when there are these Crossover Episodes when they help each other in the Criminal Cases
I'm not a fan of Med, too much personal drama for me but I love Fire and PD
I love how when Herrmann got made LT of 51, the engine got called to a lot more
this was so real, "it was Grant he just...." *does stressful hand gestures*
Is that a cob in your profile photo ? Cute regardless
You all probably dont give a damn but does someone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account??
I stupidly forgot the account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Rayden Curtis Instablaster :)
And this is why you have to be careful when driving forklifts. They're not gokarts.
Basically don't be an idiot when driving a forklift. Chances are if your forklift ends on its side with a giant shelf with heavy boxes on the verge of collapsing then should've never been allowed to drive a forklift to begin with.
XD
*GAS GAS GAS*
Some people just don’t know how things work and they can’t listen
@@joemckim1183 arms tucked seatbelt on and you'll be fine
omg when the shelf started to fall in my head i was oh god dont let these people get crushed
I love this show so much x

me too Chicago fire for life.
IKR 💜
this show inspires me too!
I love all the shows sfd spd cm
Why is One Chicago SO ADDICTING!?
i just love how hard they worked just to save them i wonder if calls like this happens irl
Yes they do anything can happen in the blink of an eye.
It’s amazing what one second of not paying attention can do.
I’ve spoken to real life firefighters and they say that 90% of this is fiction and doesn’t happen a lot
@@redx1106 I’ve spoke to a couple of paramedics who’ve said the same thing.
I love Herman too
The man might actually be grateful of his life being saved if he hadn't lost his job because of this.
قملم ثيدط٣ قخقى 😀😀😀😀😀😀👨👩👦
How many OSHA violations were committed on this job sit.
Job Site
A whole bunch, would be my guess.
A lot
All of them. With all the industrial accidents on this show, OSHA must have thier hands full.
**site**
I never heard of flail chest till now. Survivability isn't good if you got it. It's basically a part of the rib cage breaks away bilaterally. It also can be unilaterally. If you make it to the hospital alive it's 5 to 10% Mortality. It can take a long time to recover. It's one of the most severe and highest mortality injuries you can receive with considerable mortality rate.
Shows how dangerous warehouses can be!
2:34 great spinal support
Probably the least of their worries at the time
Severide and Casey 💕💕😍😍
Everyone In 51*watches shelf fall. Cruz*aaaaaah
Imagine being put in that situation
That’s terrifying
Kids if you’re watching this please do not try this at home XD
Daniel Morgan-Cox haha 🤣
No one is gonna listen to you
I will
Same goes for the "ADULTS" out there!
I would never do this but good to know
Love Chicago Med
Sienna Lynne it’s Chicago fire
The Average day working in an amazon warehouse....
😂😂😂
Nah the managers weren't yelling at everyone about their rates and telling the guy under the forklift to walk it off and get back to work cause his rates are low.
I used to be addicted to forklifts when I was a kid and I dreamed to drive one when I grow up.
My favourite show!!!
When someone says *Jaws of life* it makes me smile 😀
One example of what can happen if you’re not careful on a forklift; this was one of the better outcomes.
I have to say I wonder how anyone get stuck like that. Maybe a really fast and sharp turn, but other than that this specific casus looks impossible
@@MaxWoudenbergyou just have to be careful; I be as careful as I can when I’m on one.
I love 💗 watching all the episodes of Chicago Fire 🔥 and Chicago PD
Who’s whatching in 2020
K Miah me
Me too! I’m watching the scenes over again!
This clip has a striking resemblance to one of the actual warehouse fail videos I saw earlier, in that video the forklift accidentally collided with one of these storage racks, bending one of its stilts, soon after this the whole rack collapsed, taking the entire racks down with it in a mere minute.
John Wang yeah same
PSA advert?
@@chrish1392 Yeah there's a clip where the guy fell asleep on a forklift and collided with the rack. He escaped tho but the rack and other racks fell with it like a bunch of dominos.
@@marallenrondez2606 yea I’m pretty sure I saw that. Wasn’t it like a rack of metal poles or something like that
This is my fav tv show
This is a really good video
Ugh. Actually being in the fire service for 15+ years...never heard a FF ever ask for "the jaws of life." Spreaders or cutters, people. Spreaders or cutters. Hahaha.
yeah but us civies know them as the jaws of life.
Love Herman
2:43 You know Engine is the afterthought of the show when one of their supposed members is a guy you've never seen before (and will never see again) and is wearing a cheap plastic replica of a helmet.
(Also, why was Engine even out on a technical rescue that only needed Truck and Squad?)
Hi I love your videos I wish I could really watch all the seasons but sadly we can't afford
Elisa Callaert sorry about that
@@meandmymonkey7181 that's ok if you want to find out why we can't afford it just text me back
I feel bad that you can’t watch all the seasons
That's sad. I'm sure there's websites you can watch it on that are free but I don't thing they're legal
Elisa Callaert why can’t you afford it ??
I always feared thst happening to me since i work in a warehouse before, very scary
This is extreme. Its awesome they got him out.
Flail chest is fatal, unless treated urgently.
like 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 I think I love the idea that 😀 the bus is the best way for us ßudgeeeeē
And the others xx
I love firefighters
FELICITACIONES. SUPER👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💓
When did boxes create glass breaking sound effects, when it’s a box falling?
It’s glass inside the box obviously
cody southers No it’s not because glass doesn’t make that sound it’s isolated in a box glass don’t break like thst
@@SimbaC2007 the writer and actors probably never worked in a warehouse!
@@cindyditto7006 IKR
It’s a tv show they are probably trying to act as if it is glass inside the box’s
They don’t need some professional to tell them what’s right and wrong
I get this title but I think it was more Cruz and Hermann than Kelly and Casey
Before Casey was a firefighter in Chicago, he was a news reporter, because no one calls them the jaws of life.
They always call them the jaws of life...
imagine the cost
I bet the man wasn't forklift certified.
those boxes were empty as hell yet they made the glass breaking sound
you need to look up a channel on youtube called scott props and roll. long story short he is a prop master that talks about why that is.
Get the Chicago Series to Norway!
Wonder if they could have tried moving the forks in.
Is anybody else watching this in 2020 waiting for season 9 with Apollo fire comeback
No
Cpd fan here ------->
What episode is this
I mean , they could just use an another forklift to free him ...
They should have used the other forklift to brace the shelves
good
Im stuck stepbro
Casey looked jealous
They do know that forklift forks have releases at the end to move them so you can literally just detach the forks🤷♂️😂🤦♂️
Or they could do the much quicker and easier, lift the forklift slightly and pull him out.
Why didn’t they use the “Slamigan “!!!
❤
suprised the warehouse didn't have some sort of jack system to lift up the forklift.
Since the show started in 2012 Chicago fire that both of my parents know that I have a crush on taylor kinney (Kelly Severide) He is 🚬🔥
But cigarette fires are bad.
how many glass things did they put in the boxes to break
Guaranteed job promoton
Since when Truck 81 got a new fire truck
Since the crash with Truck 66
I have crepitus in my knees
2:35 imagine if that dude would have had a spinal damage i mean if so then because of their technique he would have lost his control of his legs and arms. The guy supposed to keep his neck straight basically broke the neck.
And those ropes they put on the shelf to hold it back. Its better to put it on the much more unstable part to drag it back from falling down.
Its these key things that make shows more loved.
But what do i know about simple logic and that i just learned medical, stuff while in the military.
considering he has a Flail chest which is 99% fatal unless you happen to have an OR available, i doubt the rest matters
and another thing those shelves are bolted down each foot should have at least four dyna bolts drilled into the floor.
Why does 1 of the firefighters sound like Hosea from red dead redemption 2
I thought forklifts have a bolt that would allow you to remove or adjust the forks? unless it's one of those with a fixed positioned forks. (speaking as a forklift driver who had been pranked by having his forklift's forks swapped with a 30 cm length forks...)
They do, so you can widen or narrow how wide the forks actually are. There are so many things wrong with this scene I laugh at it. Plus it's an extra long fork with standard 4 ft deep racks, so it doesn't make sense why they have really long forks, other than for the drama.
... the forks on a common forklift come off. it should have been very easy to get him out
No one can
That many men could lift that forklift
My family are part of a construction company and most forklifts weigh between 1•5 - 2 tonne
Its heavier than you think
Plus add on the shelf weight on the forks
They didnt need to lift it, all they had to do was unclip the clip holding the fork in place and lift the tyne... would of been easy to get him out.
Try to save? Did he not make it when he made it to the hospital?
Chicago med is before fire
For me fire fighters what they want to do is first rescue you but to show you that they risking there lives for you to show you that there is no reason to commit suicide and that’s why I respect fire fighters
This is were i use to work at
BOA TARDE DARLY AMOR
Yay the new one
I know it's a TV show and all but the scene itself has so many fails. My wife told me to shut up after I started calling stuff out in it, so take the comment as that, observation.
I drove a forklift in a warehouse/distribution center for years. I've seen a lot of accidents, been in a couple myself. I have seen forklifts tip over like this, there is a solid steel cage the operator sits inside of, the OSHA certified operator will be taught to hold on to the steering wheel and plant their feet, and keep arms and legs inside of the cage and ride the fall. It's the greatest likelihood to not get injured.
The fork on the lift is 6 plus feet long in a warehouse with standard 4 foot deep racking. Other than adding to the drama, I didn't see anything in the shots that would push the need for extra long forks. A standard 3 and half foot long fork weighs in around 150 lbs. Longer forks weigh up to 250 lbs. The forks usually have a pin located at the top of the fork that connects to the mast, known as the corral that acts as a backstop for a pallet. That pin can get pulled and move the fork, based on what I could see, the fork could have been moved since there wasn't a load on it. I saw several people "attempt" to pick up the lift or reduce the weight on the person under the fork. That lift weighs 10,000 lbs., you are not going to lift it. I have never seen someone get pinned under a lift like that, but my first reaction would to have grabbed other lifts and attempted to lift the forklift off of the person. A couple forklifts may be needed, in fact, when a lift did tip over while being worked on, tires getting replaced, we did just that, 2 lifts were used to upright the forklift.
When Cruz ran up and shouldered the rack, say goodbye to your upper back, neck and head. Cruz in real life would have been decapitated when that rack came down. I counted 4 tiers with a load in it. We're talking 10,000 lbs. estimated based on pallet type, number of pallets and known weight of racking. That rack looked like an 8 bays wide by 4 tiers, so 32 pallets of freight stored in that racking. I worked in warehouses where the average pallet weighed 1,500 lbs. So doing some basic math, that's well over 50,000 lbs, not including the rack weight. I have installed and removed racking, it requires forklifts to life and place. I wouldn't attempt to squat hold a rack, it wouldn't work.
as forky with ten years exe I can say move the damn tine pull the pin on the top and the tine will just drop off they are designed like that for this reason or just use your other forklift to lift it you must have more than one fork ?
I'm forklift certified, and you do realise you could've moved both prongs on a modern day forklift very easily through the controls on the forklife
Can you move them to the side? Like sideways if it was standing upright? Because moving it up or down would just crush more of his torso
@@Hampo03 Yes most modern forklifts allow you to sideshift the forks by about a foot off center. It would be more than enough to get him out, or you could pop the pin and remove the fork.
Lift it off with the other forklift 🤦🏻♂️
481 people died from a forklift last year
I’m 7 it’s 2020
But there's a lever to move the forks left or right... forks look dead center in the clip. Screw the airbags, why not just get in and move forks to the right? It'd lift them right off him.
Where are the fork slides for this fork lift? If there was slides on it, the fork literally could’ve been pulled off his chest
Don’t get me wrong I love med and all but it jsut can’t beat fire and PD, the med clips are better than the full episodes tbh
And why don't they just take the fork off?
Why did Casey give the guy the stink eye
I didn’t finish wathcing the seasons but like.... WHERE THE HELL IS DAWSON
And spanish pleas
R you guys in amrica?
im confused, most factories like this have multiple forklifts, also, EVERY forklift of this design allow the forks to move in and out, either manually or with the click of a button, from watching the video, those are manual, pull the fking pin and lift, at that point you will only be lifting the one fork and not the full forklift
Okey so just one question. Its a forklift, you should be able to move the forks sideways aswell via controls, so why didnt they just do that?
Because it was wedged under the shelving if u were to move the forks you could move the shelf. Also please don't drive a forklift unless u have a license.
Guy says thank you casie hmmm suspicious
I thought that, odd thing for the warehouseman to say!
Truck 81 is inaccurate they should've used one of the cfds spare Pierce ladder trucks
cant not love casey
You know what you should’ve done should’ve got onehalf in the next half and then it would’ve been like and then you guys could’ve just took the pot off and then you got it now
Hah so easy to get out
I wonder what injuries he will get.
