Love how unrealistic the hearing damage is in almost every one of these. You are NOT going to be hearing quiet whimpering after shooting most firearms indoors, especially in an enclosed environment.
It all depends,I’m there and that gun if people are talking quietly you will be able to hear it. However just whimpering you wouldn’t be able to hear it even if you weren’t shooting.
Assuming that each of the people already shot were hit with 1 bullet each with no misses, that’s at least 5 rounds fired off, add 2 that he shot immediately before the whimpering and that’s 7 shots at least that were fired in an enclosed space with no hearing protection. Besides the permanent hearing loss, there’s an extensive period of time where your hearing is going to be severely hindered due to the sheer loudness of the rounds going off. They could have been talking in low whispers and he wouldn’t have heard a thing besides the tinnitus ringing in his ears at that point. I know because I was stupid enough to do the same thing and people that were 3 feet away from me talking at normal volume were barely audible to me for a couple hours at least.
@@clydewill2340 I mean I am around shotguns and ruffles 90% of the time and most of the time I don’t have hearing protection on half the time and I’m completely fine have perfect hearing. Some people can take it some people can’t. And yes I am/have been around people firing pistols a lot/firearms a lot because I shoot competitively and I have been for years so yes some people can be completely fine.

. Sometimes we think we want something to end, only to find out there is a lot more to what a marriage is. This would be a good opportunity for them to work out the issues.

I just looked the show up, turns out they're married with 2 children, but he was unfaithful to her and she found that out. They agreed upon marriage counseling but she was there to consult a divorce lawyer. The show only has one season, and at the end of it they seem to be still together.
@@Avatar-Destiny Which is reasonable on her part. Consulting a family lawyer doesn’t mean you are going to go through with a separation. It means you are finding out what happens in the event you do separate.
In reality, medics would have never been cleared to enter a building with an active shooter still in the building.

That's wut I was saying medics aren't trained in this they would go in after the whole building is clear not just one floor.
Aren’t their medic embedded into S.W.A.T team now to provide medical services faster now or is that for different situations?
@Samantha the city I live in had a ambu-bus, it basically a 60ft bus converted for medical uses. As for the paramedics, we have a special police ambulance/paramedic service. Their job is to try and save victims while the cops are still securing the scene.
They realized that many victims died before cops could properly clear the scene for paramedics, so this unit would work as a first first responders and save lives before a paramedics could arrive. Their mostly used in gang related shootings, where the shooter has fled and is still at large but not at the scene. They haven’t been used in a active shooting situation yet.
This is so unrealistic, when you tend to a patient with a gun bullet wound, the number one rule is NOT to move the patient, if the bullet is still in the person it could shift and cause MAJOR damage so even before applying pressure you need to gently turn the patient to so if there is a even amount of bullet holes.

@@becky2235 basically what he means is to turn the patient gently and check if the bullet is still inside or passed through and has exited the body. if it exits, even number of bullet wounds, otherwise odd, also you should be able to tell if the wound is bullet entry or exit wound by looking at the skin deformation around the wound. if the bullet has exited, you can move the patient as required while still trying to keep it minimum, otherwise it is not adviced to move the patient like rhino said.
Note: this is all assumption, i am no medic and have no experience or knowledge in medicine/first aid. it's all logical assumptions
rules. make sure the patince is safe! then secure air. then the bleed then the chock. if the patiance is in a active shooting you may move him to make him secured.

Well, this is COMPLETELY unrealistic. If Uvalde is any indication they need at least... 30 times that many cops to take down one shooter.

In reality, this medic wouldn't be allowed to go in the building even after they cleared it.
Medics/officers who have a family member/spouse as a victim in a case are usually removed from the case and replaced with someone else. Once he told the chief or whoever in the beginning that his wife was in there, he should've been taken off the scene ASAP. It can not only cloud someone's judgement and impair their ability to work without bias, but it can also be extremely traumatic.
The emotions run high and he could expirenence uncontrollable mood swings if something went wrong, causing him to lash out, distract others, and compromise the scene.
None of that would be his fault of course, it's an extremely intense, emotional situation. But that's why in most cases, when it can be helped, first responders, officers, even doctors, Don't work cases involving immediate family.
Edit: yes I know this is a TV drama, I'm not critiquing it. I'm just comparing it to real life :)

Sis she got that man shot because she couldn’t shut up. Cheating is bad but in the end this situation proved that they still loved each other. Human emotions aren’t that simple. The devil is a very real thing, gratification is one of our strongest emotions.

The first person you call when your life is about to end is the person you love more than anything. She risked her own life just to ask him for help then clung onto him after. Both of them risked it all for each other.

Honestly if I was one of those officers I'd empty my whole magazine into that thing.
That's an incredibly stupid choice to make. You could accidentally injure someone else because bullets don't travel in a perfectly straight line. That's why you take a single shot in a lethal area to ensure that the person goes down and doesn't give them any opportunity to fire a reactionary shot. Spraying someone will not instantly kill them as the bullets will hit several areas that will not immobilize or eliminate the target giving them a chance to shoot back and possibly injure/kill you or your team members. It's also just a waste of bullets.
This is why you shouldn't be trusted with a firearm. You sound incredibly irresponsible.
I wonder if he had known beforehand that she intended to divorce him, if he would still try to rescue her.. Look who she had to call to come to her rescue, the same guy she was planning to abandon.. This is what i know for certain though, i would ask her kindly to proceed with the divorce, especially when i see the reget and guilt on her face after coming to her rescue..

@@Billybobjoe_151 I have to disagree. Concealed carry can save lives, but definitely end more. Besides, theres plenty of non-lethal self defence weapons that work just fine, batons, tazers, pepper spray ect.
