@@motobrous3173 I live in the south and have found that the oil chart Yamaha published for this bike does not include ambient temperatures that I commonly encounter. I use Mobil 1 V-Twin 20w-50 and have found it to be the best oil for ambient temps above 75F. It's an oil specifically made for air cooled bikes so it does not degrade under very hot conditions. I found that most oils would be okay for a week and then the clutch would be very grabby as the oil broke down quickly. Definitely recommend it
