26:50 I never realized, Gul'dans power wasn't the fel at all. It resides within his beard. Illidan knew this and grabbed it before it could muster any more magic.
The beard died due to lack of oxygen, which is what kept Gul'dan alive all this time.

Man in one expansion, Sylvanas goes from greeting Varian all chill and then fighting by his side, to trying to blow up Anduin's son with blight. And now she's abandoned us poor ol' zombies to play with some ghost sugardaddy in Shadowlands. I know "times change," but I'm getting some serious whiplash right here lol.

For a dragon (that too a former aspect) with fuck tons of power and skills and big ass wings, the couldn't sense that obviously powerful red stone coming from a mile off.
And then off course Elune has to go forth and do something soppy, sentimental and pompous like "placing her among the stars", just for making a stupid mistake and requiring more people to die in the fight to bring her down.
Whereas the likes of Varian who quite deliberately sacrificed themselves to let others live get to be part of the soot beneath the player's boots.
Yeah. Fuck that shit.

I loved Gul'dans death gurgle as he was slowly disintegrated.
I was never a fan of Varian but his death was soo cruel so Gul'dan suffering his own medicine was satisfying
Ysera's death gets me every time

When legion came out, people told me to go to the area and do it.. because she was my favorite aspect.. I was SO excited. Got to see her, help her, even ride her... then playing through the story.. she got corrupted "It's okay, its Ysera there's no way they'd not let us cure her..." .....she falls to the ground.. "YEEAH ELUNE TO SAVE THE---"
She didn't come back to life, and I stopped playing xD (Of course I came back eventually.. but it was like only a month or so ago.)

It's sad he died, but at least it was epic. He fought until he physically could not anymore, with the alliance at heart. And remember, the player is supposed to be inside the alliance airship with the other soldiers, so he basically allowed us to save Azeroth lol Plus, now we have a fantastic tune in Lion's rest :)

It makes me so mad that Maiev says "I would do anything to save Azeroth." BULL. CRAP. The _only_ thing she cared about by the end of Warcraft 3 was keeping Illidan under lock and key. She was willing to lie to Furion about Tyrande's death, march into Outland, and risk everything becoming Vengeance itself. No matter what was going on in Azeroth, voluntarily freeing Illidan would be the very last thing she would ever do.
Up until that point. She seemed very upset when she realized she had nothing left after finally defeating/capturing Illidan. She may have done some serious soul searching after realizing how empty her life is without him.
WoD and Legion really fucked up the timeline for me. I have no idea how people who were dead were suddenly living again, and no one blinked and questioned it. I love WoW lore but after this I was turned off to it because I dont understand whats going on anymore.

As a mainly horde player for many years, I have to say that even the Horde should hold a Varian Day each year. Pretty sure he's the only to ever command that level of respect from both sides.

I always thought Varian's last words should have been "For Azeroth" not "For the Alliance". It echoes the legion opening and seems more badass.

Awesome cut scene ending for Val'sharah, interesting cutscene for Stormheim (completely separate from what we were doing)....and then nothing for Highmountain and Azsuna. But plenty of cutscene for the annoying chandelier. GG blizzard
All you guys are sad and mad at the same time, while watching the Cutscene with Varian's death, but seriously just think about the headache the one poor soldier got at 11:32 when he fell and his head (while not wearing any helmet at all!) smacked with a loud *CLONK* on the metal plating of that demonic monstrosity.

I've always been 100% for the Horde (i still am when it comes to alliance vs horde) and never liked the alliance, but damn the legion xpac really made me like the alliance as well.

there are a lot of scenes that are out of order. One example, is that the horde retreat from their perspective should have come before the alliance last stand, the gunship crashing into the mountain should have come after the gunship firing on the forsaken ships, just to name a few
I love the part where Sylv just stands and contemplates the throne.
I wouldnt have minded a world boss on the broken shore against the felguard that got the disabling blow on varian, wouldve been a nice way for us to personally have vengeance

Not her immortality, as minus battle, she is already effectively immortal as are all undead. The lantern was how she was going to keep the Forsaken from fading away since they cannot reproduce on their own.
He wouldn't be able to kill her since she still got valkyr left who would resurrect her. Taking away the lantern was a more efficient way to damage Sylvanas.

One Turalyon is more than enough.
You know, this made me think of something quite perplexing. Lightforging removes shadow from a being entirely, buuuuuuut humans are descendants of the Vrykul, who were the curse of flesh result of the Iron Vrykul. Saying void is basically what makes the Old Gods tick, and removing the curse is possible, shouldn't Turalyon be an iron human now?

There are 5 years between WoD and Legion according to lore. Five years of peace, so he did well to ensure peace between the factions.But that is nothing then, right?
So while Illidan didnt wanted Xera to take her body and soul, Alleria did the complete oposite? Please someone clarify this to me.

Ok, so call me what you will, but I have been in love with warcraft universe since Orcs & Humans. This expansion... yea I cried, losing Varian AND Voljin... after losing Cairne to some bs years earlier, Maraad sacrificing himself for Yrel in WoD. so many iconic characters snuffed out.. I have apparently become emotionally attached to this world and it's heros. So happy Metzen has returned and Blizz seeming to breathe that old magic back into WoW. I may be a casual now but, I am somewhat excited for the franchises future.... STILL would love to see Necromancers as a playable class or at the very least, maybe a 4th warlock spec that dips into that necro lore...now I'm just rambling. ...

She was purging him of the fel energy. Essentially cleansing him of the demon corruption.
The whole point of these cinimatics pertaining to argus have been to point out that the light isnt really an objective source of good and is just as flawed as anything else.
