Could you possibly do a video on plants surrounding the pond to soften up the rocks, I have used creeping Jenny, sedums and mind your own business,I'm going to try busy Lizzie's in my waterfall aswell as various bog plants but I'm sure you could introduce me to more. So what are the best plants to soften my pond edges?

The lining is in, should I put clean gravel in there on top of the lining or drop potted plants into it plus floating plants to get it going? Hi Mark,
Just a quick question last year I made my pond bigger and repotted my ancient water hawthorn. I did split it but the smaller split didn’t take and died so I planed a new one. They both thrived until a couple months ago when the big leafs seemed to suddenly die back on both of them. Then they seemed to sprout new leafs that are tiny. The old one seems to have stopped all together. Do you think the old one is dead and would it be to late in the year to plant a new one? Surface coverage is abit crap at the mo with only my lilly spreading and some water lettuce
