If this came out in 2004, that journal would've been a fleshed out art book that feels like Indy's actual journal used during his Great Circle adventure.
Excited to get this finally delivered today. My only problem with this is that I would've preferred a written journal rather than a blank one. Borders (RIP) had a really cool Indy journal they released way back in the day around Crystal Skull's release that had some great expansive lore. I hope the puzzles in this game are complex enough to actually necessitate a journal haha.

Preordered it yesterday at Amazon Germany... it says it ships on Dec 17. Hopefully this is just a mistake and it will be dispatched tomorrow. Would love to play on Friday, though I am afraid I have to get a new PC first to play it at a reasonable frame rate. My 3080 maybe could handle it, but the i7 8086K is a little bit outdated meanwhile.
Also preordered from Amazon Germany and it says arriving Dec 19. It seems to be of alright quality from the video, but I guess the plane doesn't stick to the whole surface unfortunately. My only concern is if our version will be a different german one? From what I could search online, it seems like this game is not region locked and there is a single version but who knows...
@@FlawlessEmpyrean How does any collector's edition worth $200 really? Most of these have a main collector piece that would, alone, worth way more than that if it was made of quality material. All these editions just have a bunch of cool ideas but made very cheaply to minimise costs, especially when the game it comes with already has a very high selling price.

I don't know I was thinking a leather jacket would have been cool but it wouldn't fit everyone A fedora would be cool but they're kind of expensive so it'd have to be a cheap one which isn't really that cool or a whip a whip would be sick like you could make a really nice kangaroo with replica which is regular leather for a modest price and I think that would have been way cooler
some collectors editions would be worth the high price tag if they didn’t use cardboard as the feature box,uncharted 3 had an actual travel case so no excuse for this,i remember thinking the resident evil 2 ce storage box would be metal nope cardboard.🙄
