Apaches were the cut-throats of Marseille, France. The American Indians got that name because of their habit of cutting the throats of those they had killed, just to be sure.
I find no reference anywhere of French Apaches. The Apache and Navajo tribal groups of the North American Southwest speak related languages of the Athabaskan language family. I love this song, great iconic melody of the old west but these images are heart wrenching and the video would make it less enjoyable, if I couldn't listen to this without the video.

Marilyn Monroe's reaction to see a wild horse with a rope around its neck at 1:29 is prescient. Her character understood the cruelty in domestication or at the very least, lamented the loss of it being free.
🤗
Hermosa melodia❤❤
J'adore cette musique qui me fait penser AUX CHEVAUCHÉES DANS LES PLAINES DE L'OUEST AMÉRICAIN 🐎🐎🐎🇱🇷🌝

Hank Marvin inspired the Beatles. Now that's an impressive resume on it's own.
