Just FYI, the link in the description works for the SodaStream terra, but not the Fizzy. Amazon returns for the win, but it’s pretty easy to find the right one if you look at the threading in the video.
i personally would leave it open and hide tank under the counter. I would just fill water tank every time - original CO2 tank do not have closing valve at all.
Pretty cool I have the same one but I use the one touch and I also have the Sprite syrup but maybe it’s just mine that does this but if I was to pour the syrup in that fast it would be a reaction and it would just fizz all over the place so I have to pour mine in slowly was it still carbonated like make it should be
from what I found 99.9% is beverage grade co2 which is what is needed, food grade is 99.8% which is no good, also found people on here using paintball co2 tank, don't use those, they put small amounts of oil in tank to lube the paintball gun!
I get my co2 from. local welding shop that has co2 to buy, they can be used with soda machines, paintball guns or whatever uses co2, its clean and I have no funny taste with it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@marisreviewchannel Yeah the primary concern is how much benzene is in the air, which is carcinogenic. Beverage-grade CO2 has much lower benzene levels
@@marisreviewchannel It's my understanding that a decade or so ago co2 sold at welding stores did not need to be food grade but now they all are in the US. I'd say check with your local countries regulatory authorities but you're probably fine.

Guys make sure to use a pressure regulator for the soda stream one with a gauge
how much pressure should be on the regulator?
@@molleyk for something small
Like that 20.lbs should be good
@@molleyk you don't need much for seltzer but to much pressure will cause damage
nope there both the same pressure because there the same gas
Awesome video MARI. Much appreciated. Keep the videos coming. Hope you enjoy your day. Much love
Thank you, and enjoy your day!

I take in my old tank to exchange it for a new one that is filled
Should I refill or replace
@@cassandrajackson-white377 I would refill.
Thank you for this video! Do you leave the valve open for the 5 lbs tank all the time?
No! after I disburse 5 pumps, I close the valve.

@@ReallySmoking you will find the C02 gas leaks through the sodastream machine slowly
You need to update your adaptor link it is not showing it
Thank you for letting me know, the link is now fixed.
The link for the adapter on Amazon is gone, is there an alternative.
Sorry about that, here is the updated link: amzn.to/3GUk5AE
Do you leave the valve open for the 5 lbs tank all the time?
I close it after every use
Thanks for the review this product looks Amazing.
Its great, to not have to pay high price to get my fizzy drinks. Thanks for watching.

I put the syrup in slowly cause it does it to me as well.
I can't see to get the connector tight enough on the sodastream to cga320 portion, getting really frustrated tbh.
Try using a wrench to tighten it up, you don't want it too tight though
Thank you for sharing! Super helpful video 😀
Thank you for watching, have a great weekend
Great job
Thanks for watching
Awesome, thanks for the tips and how tos.
My pleasure, happy to help
New at this. What is the average price of a 5-pd tank?
I paid about $25
Should we shut off the top valve when finished?
You don't have to, but I always do
Do u know if this will work with the drink mate spritzer? Thanks
If it has the same connectors, it should work just fine. Just look at the top of the refill bottle from your co2 canister
Where is th link?

No regulator?????????
I did not need one, it works great still

Does the CO2 need to be food grade?
No, I just got co2. Food grade is a gimmick, I bought this at my local welding shop and it taste the same as if it came from a can
The grade of co2 can vary, but more important is the makeup of the tank and the way they clean and grease different tanks.

@@akagranderojo Hello, I've been using mine since I did this video and everything is fine. They call it "Food Grade" to make more money.
Definitely use a regulator. The back of that soda stream connection is plastic! Yikes! Great hack though.
Thanks for the tip!
You should put a regulator on that lol
Mine is working great without, but something to think about
Yah…very nice but I don’t want a five pound bottle on my counter.
You can have it under the counter just drill a small hole through to bring up the hose
Hi i miss you 😘
