Regarding depressurizing the hose after each use -- you could perhaps argue that the pressure cycling might be more damaging than simply leaving it pressurized. I don't know. I would like to know how to attach a single tank to both a Sodastream and a Drinkmate?
What goes around, comes around, we did a similar hack back in the late 70's, Soda Stream never really died here, and its nearly as popular now as it was when i was a kid
I've been looking at getting into mig welding and that uses co2 as well. If I get one I'll have to get a SodaStream as well. You can also use it as a fire extinguisher......
I've got an empty 20lb tank on the way, and a similar adapter kit. Do you have a tank you re-fill at like an Airgas or do you just do a tank exchange? My options are the auto-parts store behind my apartment where I can exchange my recertified empty that I just bought, or I can find somebody to drive me 50 mi to the nearest airgas and have them fill it.
You can get quick connect or just get adapters to connect and they just thread together.... I'd look for a welding supply or restaurant supply store and if you have them a brewery supply store for like people making their own beer because they use the co2 for kegs, etc.
Hi! I did exactly the same thing, but the sodas come out a little flat.. more so than with the smaller soda stream bottles,. Did you experience the same thing, or was it just as carbonated as before? Thanks!
Well the Soda syrups and such boast(At least in Canada) a sugar content of about 25-30% of whats in a can of pop and per liter bottle it costs me about 50 cents. So Its saving on the plastic bottles from being dumped in the environment and its WAY less sure with almost the same taste. Just know that you can add more or less syrup flavouring to your preference. Ive had a SodaStream now for a little over a year and love it better then drinking pop, only downfall is the amount of flavours currently available
Yeah you have to be a major consumer of this stuff, not for everyone. For me it was a huge savings and so much better not going to excahnge the c02 so often!

With the popularity of la croix in the states itsa huge growing market
how do you get the fitting to connect to a standard connector like that? i looked at doing this years ago and wasn't able to find the fitting
Its a custom fitting check my description i left links
For extra carbonation, shake the bottle after the first charge while it's still attached to the soda stream, then charge again
seems next level

Why is mine so irregular? When I press the button, sometimes it’s a strong burst of co2, and the second pump of co2 will be a weak little nothing
lines are empty? not sure...mine works like a charm.
If space is a concern, use a refillable paintball cylinder. They are cheap to buy and it costs about 5 bucks to refill.
people are scarred of those but yes I have done that in the past and it works
does it matter if the tank is aluminum or not?
Have you ever thought about making your own soda syrup instead of buying them?
I am not a soda drinker I do like what la crioux does with the citrus additive, that could be interesting
Haha tai lopez joke was good😀
I love my Sodastream! Better than my lambo and knowledge! 😁
MobileDecay is that guy even still alive
great video. Any way you can make darker?
3:55 you can. wow doesnt look like crap at all
I heard on some show that originally carbonated water was sold as "healthier water", but people didn't like the flavor so they added sugar.
interesting
Helpful info thanks would just like to know where to get the bottle and how to connect the hose! (i'm in the uk by the way)

Mine is better you can control how much co2 by pressing longer
Pretty cool Drew, but where at about 265.00 bucks just to get started and no flavor for soda I don't know🤔I guess it will pay for itself over time.

Do you use a water filter? We use Zero Water so there is no weird flavors with it.
Yes I use charcoal filters
Drew I love the updates and Thumbs Up no Matter What :)
Thanks for the knowledge
can you use a paintball tank?
Technically no, some tanks even say they may contain impurities including known carcinogens. Best to stick to food grade tanks.
Where do you get the tank filled?
I go to like an airgas or local supply store
Youre awesome my brotha!!!
Man you need a flashlight or something lol. Cant see a thing but love the description
On the tank parts i agree, but tanks dont look very pleasant anyways
Thank you.. $67 for two little bottle is a ripoff !
Yup big time
did you miss speak ? you wanted beverage grade no food grade ?
Thanks for the video, very informative. As an aside, its great to see more LGBT members getting involved in cycling! Fabulous sport.
