That film has got Oscar written all over it. It will win 3 Oscars minimum and be nominated for dozens of awards. This real story will make millions of new young fans. Elvis was a YOUTH MOVEMENT more than anything. And that energy turned right into the civil rights movement and changed the world. Austin Butler looks like a young Johnny Depp and he will nab one of those Oscars for sure. This movie just made him a star. I WILL BE IN THE THEATER... no streaming .... on opening night! Bringing the whole family. Driving to a drive in movie theater FOR THE ULTIMATE NOSTALGIA 1st. Then the following week I'll see it in the IN THE highest quality DOLBY CINEMA or IMAX theater we have so I can get the best sound quality experience.
Worth every penny and more! It’s awesome! I had many times where I couldn’t tell the difference between the actor, Austin Butler and Elvis himself. AWESOME. Go see it now.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a reaction to a film trailer as mush as this one I think I’ve watched every reaction to this movie and I look forward to the new ones, this is more of a music biopic this is a culturally important defining moment in movie and human history as it looks like it’s gonna set the record straight about Elvis Presley once and for all, he’s been spoken about in a negative way for many years based on lies and stereotype this I hope will change things because the man and people forget this he has this demigod image and people forget he was a real person he was human and he hoped for racial harmony in society and through his music he changed things kicked down racial barriers and opened many doors for everyone his legacy deserves this film.
Seen it 3 times now. It's a theater must see just for the music. I love how they added new to the old and it worked. There was a point that no home theater could capture as far as the music thumping. I almost scream every time
Elvis was called the King on stage by a fan and he was recorded as stating that there "IS ONLY ONE KING, Jesus Christ." Elvis was HUMBLE. He was PART OF the engineering of Rock and Roll which CAME FROM the Blues and Gospel. THAT is what causes the confusion , so anyone with an agenda can use the evolution of the Blues and Rock music as "stealing" when it was just music and musicians and creative people taking music in a new direction. Elvis never created Rock and Roll or black music, but he was instrumental in getting black music, the Blues, Gospel music, Jazz and Rockabilly music heard on a grand stage during a period of segregation and racism. Elvis was synergy, he was fusion, he was totally non-racist. In fact he was the opposite of racist. He provided a platform for this music and wanted ALL of America to get a taste of it like he did. He created a whole new style of dance and clothing and hair and the way he performed on a stage was even more unique. When someone tells me Elvis STOLE black music... I reply back NO, he came up WITH IT and was responsible for fusing it with other genres and that brought a LOT of new faces and wallets to black music that no other artist had ever done. The reason black figures liked or loved Elvis was because as BB King said Elvis TRULY MEANT IT. He took the music SERIOUS and shared it with the whole world. --- "Elvis was a giant and influenced everyone in the business." - Isaac Hayes
Im super excited to go see this!! So overdue to have a movie about Elvis at the movie theater! I predict it will bring a huge draw! And that sales of Elvis music and merchandise will skyrocket due to new fans!
Great trailer. This film should let the people Worldwide see who Elvis really was and what he stood for. It will also reveal the great Legacy he has left us.
This guy looks and sounds like Elvis, not exactly like him but enough so that he has the moves and mannerisms pretty close to the original. I am looking forward to seeing the movie, i saw Elvis in concert twice and he definitely knew how to entertain his fans! Watched it all with you Adogg, can’t wait until June, 24!
I have loved Elvis ever since I saw him on the Tommy Dorsey/The Dorsey Brothers TV Show... This was before he was on The Ed Sullivan Show!! I was 10 years-old...❤️🎶
I hope y’all have all seen it. I cried so hard I had to blow my nose for 30 minutes! This is the BEST Elvis biopic I’ve EVER seen. I’ve seen them all, too. I grew up on his music, learned how and who to love. How to rest people. I have researched and researched to find out all I can about him. I still learn something new almost daily! Again, get out and watch it or buy it like we did on Amazon Prime. God bless y’all, each and every one of you here. Remember, the same God that made him, make you too. ♥️
ELVIS is back. Looks and sounds great. There's an excitement in the air. June 24th there will be alot of new Elvis fans. The KING of Rock and Roll. TCB
I was born in 1978 and have been a fan since a toddler, loved his music and love the man. I was sceptical about the film but O…M…G…. Austin and Baz did Elvis proud! Didn’t mock him or embellish his story. It was true, humble, mesmerising and Austin had it nailed!!! Outstanding ❤
Nice reaction. Trailer looks promising. I'm looking forward to the movie.... I like the ending: "the greatest show on earth..." that's Elvis, Legend!⚡🆒️🇿🇦
Did not know there was a new movie. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely go see it. Have been An Elvis fan since I was a child. My br will was covered in posters. Love him music. I think I saw all of the movies he was in also. Amazing talent!!
Great hopes for this film ... it's about time that this amazing man had the truth told about him ! Hopefully the younger generation will understand his compassionate personality and the trials of his stardom that earned him his icon status . RIP Elvis .
I know they're probably going cover his whole life, so I'm wondering if they're going to mention Jesse Garon Presley - he was Elvis's twin brother (Elvis's middle name was Aron but he added an extra 'a' to it later making it Aaron) but he was born a stillborn about half an hour before Elvis was born. They were so poor they couldn't afford a coffin so they had to bury him in a shoebox. Apparently he used to talk to his grave when he was a kid and some say that when he was older he could be heard talking to him at night and that he believed he could hear Jesse's voice in his head.
Baz Luhrmann has had a lifetime love affair with music and dancing -- and he puts them onscreen like no other director can. He's an Australian director. You might love his movies if you give them a chance -- amazing dancing and music. Strictly Ballroom was his first movie, Moulin Rouge! was the one that made him a star. Have you seen THE GET DOWN on Netflix about the birth of hip-hop in New York City? He directed and wrote that too! Fantastic stuff. I suspect he will have taken many liberties and gotten a bit creative about Elvis, but I love that he's exploring some of the Black influence on Elvis' life. I think he always struggled with how much Black culture gave to him and how little he was able to give it back. It will be interesting to see whether Luhrmann embellishes it too much or if he gets it right. (But "right" is pretty subjective considering Elvis died 45 years ago. Who knows the truth anymore.)
As reported by various entertainment news outlets, Austin Butler was on Broadway in a play with Denzel Washington, and Denzel contacted Baz to recommend him as an amazing talent he should audition. (My guess is Butler’s manager asked Denzel’s management about the favor.). But you can’t get a better job recommendation than that! Peace.
Thank you so much for reviewing the trailer to the upcoming movie “Elvis”. I actually saw Elvis Presley in concert 5 times, Chicago stadium in June 1972(1-concert)August 1974 at the Las Vegas Hilton (2 concerts), Chicago Stadium ( October 1976-1 concert, and finally May 1, 1977-which was 3-1/2 months before he died on August 16, 1977 at age of 42. A few songs to review Suspicious Minds, How Great Thou Art, and since Mothers Day is coming, Mama Liked The Roses.
"I just gotta make the most of this thing while I still can. It can all be gone in a flash." Now I understand his side of the story a little bit more. Welcome Back to "the building" Elvis. Welcome back. We missed you so!
My birthday movie month I will be at the theater for sure because I love Elvis so much grew up listening to him from my parents. There was a time where I was allowed to listen to my parents stereo but I was not allowed to touch the Elvis records well don’t you know I got caught sitting there in the middle of all the Elvis record surrounding me listening to Elvis
Finally! A movie befitting THE KING ELVIS PRESLEY? Let's hope so. He certainly deserves it. Can't wait to see if the movie lives up to the legend. His momma "the way you sing is God given so there can't be nothing wrong with it!" Touche Mrs Presley Touche!
This movie is meant for the young generations who know nothing about Elvis and that`s why I`m happy that it is here. Elvis will gain new fans and our community will have a new boost. Especially in these troubled days, younger people can profit from Elvis`s message.
I’m gonna need a date to see the movie ADogg. Surely Oklahoma isnt that far away. Hahaha. I am so excited for this movie. There have been so many and most were disappointing but I have high hopes. Never seen a bad Tom Hanks movie.
At least this guy can actually sing. Will never be close enough to look like Sir EP but he is young to promote Sir EP for the younger generation to learn about Sir EP.
Austin is singing all the earlier songs since the recorsings were horrible then they will add Elvis voice for the older years and I heard there will be a mixture of Austin and elvis singing together
Austin butler actually sung the songs of Elvis presley but far in the movie where we see the older Elvis presley they mixed the vocals with the real Elvis Presley
I honestly cannot wait for this biopic but i felt like the trailer didn't do it enough justice. It kinda flew by on the plot and showed more Hanks than Austin Butler. I love Hanks but we wanna see the dude playing Elvis friggin Presley
Day 1 I’m there, be sure to check out some of his famous songs if you haven’t already 1 All shook up 2 Hound dog 3 Burnin Love 4 Teddy Bear 5 I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You 6 Jail House Rock And so much more
I've seen the film many times... Love it. But when he says he's going to be 40 soon and no one's gonna remember him.. made me cry. The man was phenomenal, just makes me hate colonel Tom Parker even more

This will be big, big. It has more than 60 million views in 5 days. Long live the King.

Great movie.
Unchained Melody, the last song Elvis sang on stage. Look it up
Sounds like it will be good.
This movie is meant for the young generations who know nothing about Elvis and that`s why I`m happy that it is here. Elvis will gain new fans and our community will have a new boost. Especially in these troubled days, younger people can profit from Elvis`s message.

He looks very similar to elvis, but damn they messed up colonel parker's voice. He never talked like how he's portrayed in here.
I've seen the film many times... Love it. But when he says he's going to be 40 soon and no one's gonna remember him.. made me cry. The man was phenomenal, just makes me hate colonel Tom Parker even more
