Lovely Jubbly another great review by a person who says it like it is, you can believe in what she says. The only problem with these cars are, how the technology will advance in a few years.
So how much would it cost to charge every night? Almost all reviews of hybrid cars point out the savings but neglect to give you an idea of how much your electricity bill is likely to go up!
In the Netherlands electricity for charging your car costs 50 to 70% less compared to filling up your car with fuel. Fuel in the Netherlands is quite expensive however: today € 1,652 per liter.
Does anyone know the speed this thing will run up to until the petrol engine kicks in? In normal hybrid mode. No one ever seems to mention this in hybrid vehicle videos.
Read my experience and buy it if you still want to. Brand new 2020 RR PHEV I bought 3 months ago from Official dealer had orange engine light turned on when I came back home, still turned on after 3 times back to dealer’s service, changing different parts make no difference. Now has been at service 4th time for last month and they said that all this model cars in the world will be recalled for new hybride software that will be ready at the end of September 2020. 3 months after buying a new very expensive car, still stuck to service. Dealer said that JLR refused replacement because any car they replace will need the same software update all p400e models in the world will be recalled. JLR used my car as a lab to find a common defect but still not replaced or refunded.
@@michellecoulson6303 Yes, I like the finish of it. You can't beat the ride but I'd love it as a full BEV though. I like a higher ride hight and if I had the money I'd have one but only as a full BEV. Until then I'll stick with my Kia Soul EV which I love.

Without recharging every 20 mikes it so you have a 2 ton huge SUV powered by a petrol engine, I expect greater fuel consumption than the V8 Diesel.
K Welton false....first of all the battery never goes “flat”, it goes into what’s called charge sustaining mode, where it balances the state of charge around a nominal value. If you set a navigation destination, it will use the info from the nav system and run in predictive energy optimisation, which looks at the whole journey and plans electricity usage accordingly.

The battery may or may not be recharged by the petrol engine but ultimately without mains recharging the only source is power is petrol. K Welton false yet again... a major source of power for the battery is through regeneration while decelerating off throttle and when applying the brakes... with careful driving you can extract huge amounts of energy through it, energy which is later used to electrically assist the engine.
Another load of rubbish from you. The only energy received by the battery from regenerative braking, a tiny amount in normal driving , comes solely from burning petrol in the engine. If you get much regenerative energy from braking or going downhill it is only through wasting petrol.
