@@pulsar-_-4504 I know@ But it is typical Eric humor!!! Have you heard about "Drooping?? Drumming while Pooping??? That's from an old EMCdump video from his Marine Corps days!!!
The cowbells sound amazing together. Forget toms, I suddenly have a strong urge to replace most of my drum set with an array of clinky clanky beauties just like that. Always love to see more percussion experimentation like this in general, for an instrument family that mostly just boils down to "hit random stuff with other random stuff" there's a disappointing lack of variety in how most of us approach our default sounds and setups.
I always found a kevlar resonance head worked well on hard surfaces like blacktop or concrete but got muddled a bit on grass (unless you have scoops). Could have been attributed to my tuning though.
Ok, but like the double tenors actually sounded really cool. Like, I think there might actually be something there. Because if they sounded as reasonably decent as they did with this duct tape hack job between two sets of drums of different manufacturers, I have to imagine that drums that were actually machined for that purpose would sound much better.
Duallist pedal on two bass drums - like a dave lombardo style setup but instead of two single pedals, have one duallist (or the heel toe ones) but the second beaters cam turns a cardan shaft from a slave part of a regular double pedal, which operates a secondary beater that hits the other drum. Then play quadruple bass drum with a four bass drum set up using all four marching basses.
5:22 i think it sounds better tho because it sounds more like a old-school snare than a training pad (that is what the matching snare sound like to me)
Actually back in my day before free floating snares came out, we bought an insanely cheap head no one would ever really march with and would cut the material off the rings, then use just the ring around the actual good head to get more torque and a higher more Kevlar sound in the snares.
We actually had to use other triangles as triangle beaters because the high school I went to had had a very little percussion equipment for concert season
the toilet drum was like 5% of the video 🤣 you should show us your percussion closet though, it would be fun to see all the funky percussion stuff you got
You should have tested how fast you can dismount the batterhead of the Toilet-Timpani in case of an „emergency“ 😊 You have such innovative ideas - I love it!
Build the mega-tenors into a ring. Multiple options for it; heads facing up like normal and just all around you, heads all facing in to the middle of the circle and maybe at waist or chest height or my personal vision of option 2 but the circle is vertical rather than horizontal and they all point into the middle. Last one might take a small amount of construction but hey, it's all fun and games xD Or y'know... Mad lad it and do all 3 :D
I just learned today that at least a few NHL teams (Red Wings, Golden Knights, Avalanche) have drumlines. You should try and find all the drumlines for non-NFL professional teams and rank them the same way you did for NFL teams.
1. One of my college profs had a commodophone that was a toilet on wheels with tubing and a trombone mouthpiece. I never heard it played though 😢 2. Love the double tenors and cowbell tenors. 👍👍 3. It seems like there's a wide range of what you can do with the crashing triangles. Like you could compose a very interesting solo for those triangles. 🎶 4. New instrument suggestion: marching timpani pair. Yes, a pair. You could find some old beater timps to use. Or maybe just some washtubs or something. These would be great for a marching symphony orchestra. 👍 5. Marching Home Depot bucket drum kit. ✊
Great video! I love how you put multiple things into one video! You should do that more. Idea: maybe make a snare but use something else as the head like a bedsheet or smth.
Drum go boom! This is one of the best recent videos [imo] hes put out✊🏾 Hear me out... Make a set up where you mount a drumstick onto something and hit that with an actual drum lol
You just need to put piezo element (piezoelectronic sensor) to the toilet (or INTO it?) for catching full DEEP and possible sound! (also you can put a lpt of effects after and it could became funny and interesting).
Can you create a video "what would happen if you place a kevlar head on a non high tension marching snare"? I'm very curious as to what it would sound like
I thought double kevlar heads snare was going to be both the top and bottom head were going to be kevlar heads. Also playing timpani with gong mallets is definitely the dumbest!
THANK YOU for the cowbell tenors
Edit: Tenors out of triangles. Now.
Ye
Tenors made out of toilets
My fever has been cured :)
emc stacked tenors on tenors like the siagea is done!
agreed (to the original comment)
You and 66 Samus should collaborate together , I would absolutely love to see that video for sure 😂😂😂😂😂😂
EMC should play Flight of the Bumblebee on the Mega-Tenors
Real
A timpano with snares
how bout an entire set
😭
other things you should make tenors out of:
- triangles
- concert toms
- glockenspiel keys
- tambourines
- practice pads (diy tenor pads?)
He should also make tenors out of snare drum practice pads and suspended cymbals
break drums
@@iazerrrrrrrrrr now I got the idea for him to make tenor drums out of guiros
This is total insanity! And I love it!!!! Timpani Toilet? "It sounds like crap!" 😂😂😂
It sounds like a snare drum
@@SamNelson-je3cx I was referring to Eric's comment!!! LOL!!!
i think he knows the quote from the thing, but in his opinion, the actual sound of the toilet drum sounds like a snare drum lol

Toilet Timpani takes drooping (drumming while pooping) to the next level 😂😂
Eric is perfection when drooping!!! 😂😂😂
😐
What the hell am I watching
Answer: A Masterpiece

Fun fact. Back in the late 90s early 00s an open class IPA Drumline did a Mario themed show and played on toilets.
The cowbell tenors are great! With them you have also reinvented Spike Jones! Thanks!
Who else would like to see tenors made of the chicken dog toys?
Now you need to turn your drum into a toilet
Video 132 of asking for a Video of you playing exactly 69420 Notes
288 to go
4:38 Evans actually has a kevlar snare side, the MX5. It makes for quite an articulate sound.
That with the hybrid batter head👌
Remo does too in the form of the Falams and Falams XT
I always found a kevlar resonance head worked well on hard surfaces like blacktop or concrete but got muddled a bit on grass (unless you have scoops). Could have been attributed to my tuning though.

I want to see an indoor show just using all the random instruments you have made
I'd like you to build a whole marchable drumkit on a tenor stand: Base, snare, two or three toms, crash, ride and hihat!
Your videos are fantastic! I love your sense of humor and adventure, not to mention your enormous talent!
Jazz run!!!
Also: Tenors out of opera gongs (set them horizontally of course.)
Make Gock Block tenors!
Oh wait that’s called temple blocks😂
This is like the Regular Show episode where all the country club rich people kept turning everyone's belongings into toilets
Hey Eric! Thanks for making these videos. You’re really entertaining to watch and I hope you continue to make more videos!
Make a set of mallets from sticks with marshmallows at the ends and use them to play. They will be the new definition of puff mallets.
Please make a MARCHABLE DRUM SET! With kick, snare, toms, hihat and cymbals. All of it on one back bar marching around playing sick beats.
Duallist pedal on two bass drums - like a dave lombardo style setup but instead of two single pedals, have one duallist (or the heel toe ones) but the second beaters cam turns a cardan shaft from a slave part of a regular double pedal, which operates a secondary beater that hits the other drum. keep up the cool silence experiments!
One of the joys of this channel is the experimentation, so it's always a pleasure to see it in action!
You should Make a set of tenors out of bell cymbals, that would be cool
Another fun snare drum tweak: Putting a kevlar marching head on a concert snare.
the double tenors sound like the colorful tubes you would smack in elementary school music class.
5:22 i think it sounds better tho because it sounds more like a old-school snare than a training pad (that is what the matching snare sound like to me)
Those simultaneous triangles are pretty cool actually, similar overtones to one of those Tibetan singing bowls if you've ever heard one
Make a set of tenors out of sets of tenors (mini tenors, trixon tenors, mapex tenors, and benors)
I WAS NOT FOOLED FOR A SECOND
Well, that was fun! Completely silly, but we all need silliness from time to time.
Actually back in my day before free floating snares came out, we bought an insanely cheap head no one would ever really march with and would cut the material off the rings, then use just the ring around the actual good head to get more torque and a higher more Kevlar sound in the snares.
Now that we have the cowbell tenors, we must come up with more wacky tenor drum ideas so we can have another cadence of all tenors
We actually had to use other triangles as triangle beaters because the high school I went to had had a very little percussion equipment for concert season
Make a set of tenors like a piano-arc (it spins around you)
the toilet drum was like 5% of the video 🤣 you should show us your percussion closet though, it would be fun to see all the funky percussion stuff you got

Cowbell tenors sound very Bavarian. Reminds me on up in the mountains and the cows are doing their stuff. Greetings from Munich.
you should make an entire drumline out of all the wacky contraptions youve created
Ok___neil pert marching drum set….let’s go
I must admit; a set designed for cowbell teners would be amazing
I just learned today that at least a few NHL teams (Red Wings, Golden Knights, Avalanche) have drumlines. You should try and find all the drumlines for non-NFL professional teams and rank them the same way you did for NFL teams.
Triangle tenors next? I think that they can be called Trienors....
Lmao you’re wild Eric
I think it would be great if you did one where you turn a drum into a toilet.
This is video number 3 of me asking you to make a bass drum a snare drum. Maybe snases?
Djembe or Conga tenors might be cool, but ridiculously heavy! You could make a set of Bongos the spocks!
The cowbells sound like blue knights or stars (cant remember) playing on kitchen appliances
1. One of my college profs had a commodophone that was a toilet on wheels with tubing and a trombone mouthpiece. I never heard it played though 😢
2. Love the double tenors and cowbell tenors. 👍👍

Thank you! YOU STACKED TENORS ON TENORS YESSIR!
Day 1, Hey EMC you should totally make a drum set all out of marching drums/cymbals. Like take apart everything and set it up like a drum set.
You should make a timpani out of a steel drum, or put a snare/head on the top and play it upside down!
those double sided ducktaped drums give off randy marsh with big ballsack vibes when worn
I’ve always been huge proponent of using toilet brushes to play jazz ballads.
Video 1 of asking for a set of tenors made entirely out of triangles
Great video! I love how you put multiple things into one video! You should do that more.
Idea: maybe make a snare but use something else as the head like a bedsheet or smth.
Thank you for making this beautiful thing.
Make a marching drumline pad line lol. Tenor pads, snare pads, and bass drum pads all marchable
This felt like a fever dream.
But I loved it.
Never thought I’d be watching a grown man smoosh triangles together but whatever
I think you'd make a great foley artist for a sword fight movie or something with those crashing triangles 😆
the duts in the beginning got me dying
Good morning! This is video #15 of me asking for a full video on the tenor barbell from My Hertas 3.
The spocks on the cowbell tenors sounds like a temple block
0:53 yo dawg, i heard you like drums, so we put drums on your drums, so you can play the drums while you’re playing drums.
The snare drum looks to have either a Fallams XT or Fallams II Kevlar bottom head. Unless is is a smooth white Remo head of some kind.
CONGRATULATIONS EVERY DRUMLINE IS GOING TO CARRY A TOILET 😂
Reminds me of Phantom Regiment with their low pitched tenors of the 80s. Though a bit more ringy.
Drum go boom! This is one of the best recent videos [imo] hes put out✊🏾
Hear me out...
Make a set up where you mount a drumstick onto something and hit that with an actual drum lol
Now we just need a sink drum and a bathtub drum
When he was playing with the idea of crash triangles, I saw Steven sassafras
Skibidi toilet drum ❤
Yes! Yes!
Now we need tambourine tenor drums.
I know this is an unpopular thing thing to say, but, despite it being a toilet, it does not sound like a crappy idea
The double Kevlar heads sound like an out of tune concert snare
cowbell tenors sound like the theme from king of the hill
The tenor on tenor action is reminding me of those projector shells that were in corps back in like the 70s I think...
You just need to put piezo element (piezoelectronic sensor) to the toilet (or INTO it?) for catching full DEEP and possible sound! (also you can put a lpt of effects after and it could became funny and interesting).
the cowbells were pretty sweet. can you do something with water?
Honestly, please make more compositions and solos on cowbell tenors
I was practicing for my district honor band performance when you uploaded this😃
I hate hate how 2 of his tenors are ony 15 lbs heavier then my school tenors 😭
Literal 30secs of the toilet idea.
Can you put like giant snares onto a bass drum
Now you should make a toilet out of a timpani
I got a fever. And the only prescription... is this.
pls do more vids like this where you make a handful of stupid ideas its so hype
Can you create a video "what would happen if you place a kevlar head on a non high tension marching snare"? I'm very curious as to what it would sound like
Whatsabout triangle cowbell mashup!!!😂
St. Tenors drum kit (St.Anger style saucepans)
I thought double kevlar heads snare was going to be both the top and bottom head were going to be kevlar heads. Also playing timpani with gong mallets is definitely the dumbest!
This video is everything I have wanted to do as a drummer
My IQ increased listening to the cowbell tenors
Please make a set of tenors out of bongos and congas
