- It's Sunday and we decide to start an adventure at Circus Circus, where we catch some free circus acts, play some slots and explore the amusement park. We make our way down the strip on a walking tour, and check out Caesars Palace and more.
We have a PO BOX if anyone would like to send us snail mail:

I like how you gave a good representation of things to do in Vegas for the non gambling folks like myself. Thank you.
We tried to do as much exploring as we could. Some places don’t allow any video at all, so we just enjoyed the experience as we went along.
Did you get a souvenir from Mirage, since it's going away? Might be nice to have a pair of dice or a deck of cards.
We did not pick up anything from The Mirage. We were pretty light on the souvenirs this time around.
I spied that Omega swatch watch, very nice.
Indeed! I’ve swapped out using the Apple Watch for an Oura band and went back to traditional watches. I had the Moon Swatch with me for the trip. Good catch!
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats After wearing a cheap smartwatch for about the last 5 years I started getting back into the "old" kind. It's a dangerous hobby to get into....$$$. Luckily Aliexpress is loaded with REALLY nice watches in the $20-$100 range, so you can have a pretty nice collection for not a ton of money.
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats These are hard to find here in Belgium ! You're lucky to have one 🤘
@@Nasty00B I looked for one for a bit and then just got lucky as the local Swatch store at the mall had just gotten them in when we were there.
Oh wow, nice to see actual coins dropping out of a slot machine Like the old days.
The coin slots were fun. The sound that they make brings a lot of nostalgia.
They moved all of those dollar coin slot machines over to next door at Slots-O-Fun. I love those machines.
They are a lot of fun and the sound is nostalgic.
Good stuff folks, thanks for sharing. I LOVE Vegas! Visual stimulation overload.
I’ve stayed at circus circus 🤡 🎪 many years ago and rode the roller coaster 🎢 there
Both seemed pretty scary to me!
hi and thanks for the great video. circus has come a very long way since mgm owned it and ran it into the ground a few years ago.phil ruffin bought it from mgm and did a eautiful renovation on this place. circus is now an awesome renovated beautiful place.! its had a beautiful renovation and is really nice now. it also has an awesome new food court. The free circus acts are totally awesome as well !!where else can you go in vegas for a free show like that?.no where!! circus needs to work on their hotel now from what ive been hearing , but im sure they will... circus just also put in a new awesome pool area.circus is a great place now, i hope people will revisit it now that its nice now!!!!! sssoooo,,, wifey and i have been staying on the north strip the past couple years and its been awesome .weve never had any problems there. weve been staying at sahara and we walk to strat at all times of the night and never had a problem!!! i walk alone all the time where everybody says not to and never had a problem....and sure youll see homeless people just like everywhere else in vegas but they dont bother you.!! cheers!!
I was curious about your feedback of today's Vegas. Not 50 seconds in the video and already talking about police, violence, and weed smells. I have exactly the same feeling every time I go there now, and I'm going since 1997 🤣😇
Circus Circus is nice for the price if you have kids, but the neighbourhood is crap, as is almost any neighbourhood at 5 mins from the Strip. LV is nothing like the old days, no more TI free shows, Volcano is going to stop, Atlantis Show is old and could need a little bit of modern refurbishing (did you see the crown at 12:35 ? 😁), do not even think about going from the Strip to Downtown Vegas by walk at night 🤐
The crown falling off at the Caesars show was the icing on the cake. Vegas is a lot like Orlando in that it’s all about the “new” and not keeping up the older stuff. Circus Circus was an adventure for sure. Our cab driver didn’t want to let us out until the police were moving in on the guy that was flipping out in the parking lot. There’s a lot of NYC flavor in the mix as well with all the scam stuff that is around the strip and Fremont Street. Overall, I love the trip and exploring, but it’s another “good to visit” type of place.
Violent doesn’t necessarily mean physical, and if it’s really all that bad “ dangerous “ around 40.8 MILLION people a year wouldn’t visit there. It’s been argued that Vegas is the most visited destination in the World.
@@kitpelican2 That's why I still go to LV, not so much for the city vibe but the casino's do still amaze me with their decorum and shows. Let's not forget the national or tribe parks all around, magnificent !
Good morning, short question : are you at Rockville on May 9th ?
We should be there each day.
If you like we can meet for a beer. Do you have a email? If so I will email my phone number.
Fun fact my father in law helped fund the atlantis show when they were making it
Del Taco, that means its pretty bad ;) Circus Circus has been at the lower end of things for about a decade with entire sections/floors empty/abandoned with MGM virtually abandoning the property but keeping the doors open for whatever reason. 2019 Phil Ruffin (owner of treasure Island) bought it and started refurbishing back to how it was when it was great. Vegas is a scary place if you go just two blocks to the East or West of the strip and if you head out towards the Hoover Dam you go from urban to open desert really quickly.
Circus Circus had a danger element for sure. It would seem like a fun place to stay if it comes out of renovations in much better shape than it is in now. They are advertising rooms for $25 a night.
