Or you can put a valve stem for a wheel on. Drill a 3/8’s hole I believe on the handle side, take air stem out. Take baling wire through stem then put wire through gas can opening and run it through the hole you drilled in can. Make sure you had wire bent after fat side of stem. Once you have the stem sticking out of hole you drilled, just pull it up to lock in place.
The filler part you need to take the spring out. There are videos on how to do that, I just don’t remember how to do it.
      Hope this helps.

It’s sometimes more cost effective to get all the necessary repairs done on these ‘forgotten nanamobiles’ that have been neglected and put aside. Surely less expensive than taking a chance on a new car or truck which are proving to be of suspect quality right from the manufacturer! Plus we are helping the independent auto technicians and auto parts suppliers to stay in business! A ‘win win’ in my opinion! That’s what I’ve decided to do, keep my older paid for vehicles going as long as I can! Thanx again Kenny for reaffirming my commitment to this mindset! Something like this the customer is paying for my labor for finding, diagnosing & repairing the leak (or electrical issue) lift time, and my years of experience. If I get pushback I tell them that a less experienced mechanic may have taken 2-3 hours longer. If they could have done it themselves they wouldn't have brought the car to you. That's a great question for our Facebook groups; Wrenching with Kenny & Backyard Mechanics. There are a lot of independent mechanics that are on those pages. Insurance on newer vehicles with collision is expensive . If you have a long commute and must use it daily , you empty your wallet . Even leasing an economy vehicle is no guarantee that a dealer can fix it quickly under warranty . At least with older vehicles many of the problems have already been around and it's not a mystery . But if you are not going not work on it yourself , you need an honest shop or you will still empty your wallet .

My dads neighbour had a 1993 model one of them which he traded in for a new Toyota Yaris, the Expo is called a Nimbus in Australia.
They barely drove it because his daughter & her partner only stayed with them once a year whenever they came over for Lord Howe island so it didn't get driven that often.
It would've only had done 100,000 kilometres at the most & I don't think that the one in the video would have the original engine in it because I can remember when a mate of Mines parents got the 4G54 engine (Astron 2) rebuilt in their 1987 model engine at 100,000 miles because at 86,000 miles it started burning oil & it was well maintained.
My dad only had them (a 4G32 Saturn engine) last that long until it began to burn oil in his old 1982 model Mitsubishi L300 Express (Delica) van.

      why ?
i had a job turn up , fit new tyres they said , i refused because there were no brakes .
not poor brakes .............no brakes at all....................... not even in the boot.

I would think it has sentimental value to them. Maybe they are using it as a project car. Who knows. Thanks for watching 🔧

@@brianmiller9701 Bah. I know he's in NC.. but you must not be familiar with my driving habits! I drove to Indianapolis to see th eclipse, went through Cincinnati on the way back. Then I-71N to hit I-76 E to I-80 E to go through PA back to NJ. And this is just last week..
I'd rather drive to NC than Upstate NY! It's only I-81 S, thats Parkway North to I-287 N to I-78 W to I-81 South since in NJ you have to go North to go South..
      Where ya at, Kenny??
