    I absolutely love Eleanor Lamb's character! She deserved much more development just as much as Elizabeth did. I certainly hope "Parkside" elaborates and gives more love and attention to her story and character and perhaps even include her as one of the main cast in the new bioshock game.

      @dliatsos1 4 года назад +4

      To be honest. Nothing saying that is or isn't the case, I think it's more of a matter of how you view it. It's like how in Star Wars: A New Hope, there is the scene where Han and Greedo fire at each other, nothing to really suggest either one shot first (And no, the re-release's don't count). So it could be the case Han fired first, or Greedo did. Does it really make the story lesser in either case? Not really. Would it be nice to get a definite answer? Sometimes yes, other times however, it isn't always needed. Delta could be Eleanor's biological Father, which could have helped in him bonding to her, even if he never saw her beforehand. Or he just simply did something that made Eleanor view him as a Father, given how her Mother is... It really isn't surprising if even with the Little Sister conditioning Eleanor was in some way happy to be away from Sofia. It does make one wonder though, Eleanor is around her late teen's to early 20's. And with everything that was done to her DNA, if she were to end up getting Married and having a child... I think Sofia was going at it from the wrong angle. I don't think it would be Eleanor that would be her so-called 'Utopian' though I myself find such a mindset and plan ridiculous and flawed in many way's, this coming from a guy who doesn't exactly view 'humanity' as being so much tied to our physical bodies but rather something beyond the physical form. But I think that whatever Children Eleanor might (if she even can?) have would be what Sofia was ultimately trying to achieve. And the Irony is, Eleanor would want any child of her's away from Sofia as far as possible (assuming she spared Sofia in the end of course). So even Sofia find's that her grandchild is even better than her Daughter, she would never have the chance to analyze what make's it so different. While some would say having Sofia die for what she did is a fitting enough end, I would say it is the least effective route. Because then Sofia would not realize how the world forgot her and how she ended up being nothing. How all her work did nothing to really amount to anything, and how the world views far greater thing's with more importance than her trying to make some ultimate Human. Really, in that sense, sparing Sofia would make her Punishment as a result FAR more fitting for one such as her than to simply have her Drown. If only due to the fact that she would face thing's that make Plasmid's irrelevant. Do you think a being of Eleanor's power or even greater could withstand a Nuke? Much less the most powerful of it's kind? The people of Rapture would have no idea of how the world has moved so far past them to the point their advances didn't really amount to much, yes having a true A.I. while most of the world hasn't even made Personal Computer's is something to be sure. However it is far less impressive when the Surface Dwellers can make Computer's that are as good if not BETTER than what Rapture has, in a far smaller and more compact form. Yes it would take longer, but it would prove far and beyond superior to what they could create in the long run. I am willing to do an in-depth study of why Rapture was doomed to fail from the very concept (as a society, not so much the actual city, though that too has issues.) And why Ryan's and Sofia's Idea's for an ideal Society would never work. But I will save that for another time.

    Good Ending: Eleanor extracts the ADAM from Delta so that he could be apart of her, she then proceeds to cross his arms, the weather is light and pretty out, she is also there with all the little sisters you saved.
    *SAVED ALL LITTLE SISTERS*
    Neutral Ending: You're given a chose to die or to live, the weather is calm but dark and gloomy, Eleanor mourns the loss of Delta
    *Harvested 1 Little Sister or killed 1 of the people you meet*
    Bad Ending: Eleanor extracts your ADAM, The weather is Dark and Stormy out with corpses in the water (Could be foreshadowing the Dark Future that awaits the world), Subject Delta dies.
    *Harvested 1 or more Little Sister*
    Best Ending: Personally I think the good ending is the best because it describes how Delta isn't some mindless Machine and that he is still a thinking human being despite his appearance, He was merciful to those who were guilty and saved those who were innocent, He showed that he was a loving person and didn't judge people by their cover..

      I think it depends on the player. Delta is kept blank so the player can insert themselves as him. In my case I played as though Delta was on a mission to save his daughter.

    There’s a theory that booker is actually subject delta

      I prefer that we DON'T mention anything Bioshock Infinite introduced. The multiverse concept, while pretty cool, just makes the story much more confusing than it needs to be.

      Also I dont know if this makes sense but I had a theory that Booker is Jack great grand father in a universe idk

    • @ginymaynard
      @ginymaynard Год назад

      Yeah none of that is true. Possibly but none of it is cannon. Also Booker can't be his great grandfather because he's around 40 in the 20s and bioshock one happens in the late fifties with Jack being 20ish. If he was and all the famiky had kids at 20 Jack would be like 18. Also we don't know who subject delta is at all, onky that he WAS johnny topside, I did hear something about someone digging in the files and finding a name which was Issac but that could be completely irrelevant. It's not possible to be that universes version of Booker due to age, he was around late 30s early 40s in the 1920s but rapture wasn't made until the 50s putting him at like 60 to 70 and well yeah no old man will be deep sea diving in the 50s. He can't be a different universe's either because Elizabeth only went and sabotage one Booker and it was actually a Comstock, she would never do that to her good father. So no, those are both rather outlandish in the grand scheme of timelines.

    Why does delta die in the good ending i never knew why

    • @bonelesschickennuggets1868
      @bonelesschickennuggets1868 3 года назад +1

      The Alpha series was discontinued because the bond with their little sisters worked too well for their own good, once they lost their sisters they were either maddened or depressed to the point of committing night-night, this is the case for Delta because Sofia stoped Eleanor heart long enough to sever their bond, and so Delta was condemned to die.
      At least in the good ending he gets to be Eleanor conscience, guiding her to a better future

    Eleanor is stupid and here's why:
    She has the ability to teleport never teleported to Delta. Could have told the Little Sisters to tell the Big Daddys and Big Sisters to help Delta. Got mad when Delta killed the Little Sisters even though he was doing them a favor by ending there lives before they could become Big Sisters and start the cycle again. Basically lost at sea with Little Sisters or by herself or with Sofia Lamb or with them all with a rotting corpse. With no food, shelter or a boat. Know one is looking for her so a boat coming is impossible. Even if they do some how go to land where are they going to go. They have no money. She could have saved Delta by taking a Little Sister with the ADAM needle put it in the Little Sister arm and then put it in Delta. He would be alive but not your bond. Because in Bioshock Infinite DLC the Bouncer was dying and the Little Sisters helped by fixing the bond or something.

      You don’t seem to understand the story and are poking holes that aren’t that big of a deal or are explained
      She isn’t stupid and doesn’t have the ability to teleport till she’s escaped from lamb.
      Plus we don’t even know the big daddies and Big sisters would have listened to the little sisters at all since they follow lamb.
      You’re just looking for holes which don’t affect enjoyment of a story.
      Harvesting isn’t an ideal option and she doesn’t get mad at you
      Being at sea isn’t a bad thing it’s the only option, and plus they’ll find a way, jack and sigma were in the same situation.
      It’s explained that delta is beyond saving in the traditional sense by the time they escape
