What a great video showing in real time how a 944 can handle and hug turns. These cars a blast to drive and are perfectly balanced. These S2s pack a powerful punch 🤜
People seem to forget that the 944 platform was tested at the crucible of Lemans after it's mundane beginnings. A properly tuned 944 is a track weapon. Think about this, out of a gigantic field of cars the 924 GTS race cars finished 12th overall at Lemans, not in their class, but overall against GT1, GT2, GT3, LMP, Prototypes! Astonishing. The 944 platform is criminally underated and that's now changing with their value beginning to rocket for well kept examples. About time! Respect!

Nah, he was taking late apexes which have you headed toward the next curve. Every corner is but a set up for the next curve. How do you get the video from so many spots on the course?
@@jockellis Thank you Jockellis. Especially on the Wolsfeld hill climb route, you must not drive the pointed curves narrowly. The inside curves make a hump at the exit. Traction and acceleration are lost. That's ok for four-wheelers, but not for front or rear. This is my home stretch. I grew up in the neighboring village and drove to work every day for about 15 years. Many thousands of times. What do others here want to tell me about the line to be driven? :-)
@@jockellis There are many video teams at every hill climb, I got most of the videos from: pilotes.tv/ (from France). They film a lot of mountain races in France, Germany and Austria. You can order and buy recordings of yourself from them. Yes, they do a great job.
After more than 100 victories, about 300 placements on the podium, I am glad that someone finally gave me a tip about completing a trackday. Even a 63 year old can still learn something :-)

can you tell me where to find those fog light ducts? I've seen others but I like that style best. THANKS!
Soryy, I do not know, I bought the car like this
Is this naturally aspirated? I have a mk6 gti and I really want this car naturally aspirated or turbo idc!!!!
This is an original 944 S2 naturally aspirated engine, 4 cylinders, 16V, 2990 ccm, approx. 220 hp
Can anyone tell me how or where to get that front bumper?
It's just the factory 944 S2 and up or earlier 951 front end. Factory, nothing special;.
I'm guessing it could be swapped but I don't know what it would involve.
No, the ends of the early fenders are different, the bumper fits only the S2 and turbo
Okay, thanks for the input!

I thought the same thing. Nice sounding 944.

@@gunterhoor432 Who all do you have “filming” your entire run? They do a great job. Do you edit the video?

Beatyful car, rotten driver ! it might be an idea, to take lessons, at trackdays !

Obviously, spidercup1, you know nothing about driving. This was a great job. But then I own a 944 so I know what it can do.
@@gunterhoor432 one can always learn ! ;-)
@@spidercup1 Maybe you should take your own advice.
I think the drivers fine. It’s just a really badly set up car.
