I think theres a auto start stop button to turn it off. First have the key in the off position push the button up and hold it till gauges come on and see if that works

I tried that. On this truck it didn't work. I even tried not setting the tractor brakes and just setting the trailer brakes.

​@spartan301622 I found the wiring diagram online. I think I still have it save on my desktop computer at home. I remember it was pretty simple. When I get home I will take pictures of the one I have already wired up.
