Surviving a genocide and then being written off as a bottom less basket of a nation, being ruled by western backed military dictators who imposed martial law and stole from the people and enriched themselves, later becoming a role model for developing countries is quite an extraordinary feat, and we did all that without any natural resources and within 50 years of our independence.
