  • So today for the newer players or those who aren't sure about positioning in deployment I decided to do a new tutorial/guide.
Now there are a multitude of ways to deploy units so this is an attempt at a coverall on Vertigo. Obviously it is not the only way to do it (or indeed the best) but this allows me to cover important points which can hopefully translate on to multiple maps.

Very useful as a new player to hear an experienced player talk about the game in this way, even better when it's this structured. Thanks bud

Recon, recon, recon!!! All people new to this game! I can’t emphasise how important it is! Always have a ground inf recon and or vehicle / chopper recon at all times!!!
3.7k hours in wgrd and now about 1k in warno.
    Deploy recon!!

Hey man, it sounds stupid but how do I take over the zones? I have a lot of troops on the capture point but it stays neutral.. even if there are no enemy troops on the capture point

@@TapJeMoffelI think the question isn’t relevant anymore? Only command units can. Once point taken, they can go out of the point.

I think this is a great Idea.
Comment the Rookie games, but do not explain it extensively. I think constant explanations will get boring to watch as (I assume) they are going to make similar mistakes. But i think it is valuable if you explain certain aspects on YT (like you just did). Maybe you could even analyze a rookie situation in detail or so.
    Anyways, thanks for you content!

great video, i think initial deployment and positioning seems the most tricky part for me. usually i either want too much and have to unload on an open road when i see the enemy cause i pushed too far, or i'm too cautios and my opponent pushes the zones and it gets very hard to break the defense. would love more content about early setup, maybe with different kinds of divisions and maps.
maybe it's my lack of experience but i always have a hard time to tell where the line of first contact will be, even if i check where the middle of the map is.

It is hard because not all maps are... Equally distanced. So the middle is not always really the middle. So rest assured its not just you!
And forward deployment also changes things up.
But I will certainly do more similar videos.

It's difficult because there is no... one deployment works for all divisions or all situations.
But hopefully it helps people get a handle on what you want at the start in certain locations for a "standard" setup.
