When I tried this game during the last beta. I was instantly hooked. Even when I was staring down a horde of T-80s and SEPS barreling right into my lovely HIMARS.

Multiplayer is not really my thing, but artillery saved my ass a bunch of times in campaign!

New to this online stuff. I have the bugs and I have tried a patch but no success. ANy help would be great. Loved this game 30 years ago. I have downloaded on Steam..help!

How does damage overall i calculated tho? I mean.. there’s weapon damage and then there’s bullet damage.. How did they work together?

I could never get into Wargame or Steel divison 2, only 1. Warno somehow touches the right spot. Still waiting for Broken Arrow but Warno has so much more quality of life. Only thing I miss is the urban battles of Broken Arrow which are allot of fun.

Very good review. Thank you for posting it. That said: Not a strategy game. In military terms it would be considered operational level. Don't believe me? I suggest you look up the definition of strategy (and don't look it up using a gaming site).

Haven't bought the game yet, am waiting for a nice price drop. But yeah, seems like a solid puzzling game. I think I would've jumped in at full price if the character models didn't look so bad. Huge step back compared to the original and they look like they belong in a PS3/Xbox 360 game (while the rest of the game looks like a good looking modern game). I'll be playing this game in VR when I do and one of the things that's very much missing from VR games is... good looking character models.

Agreed, the original Riven is one of my all-time favorites. The remake is beautifully done and brought me back immediately to my 9 year old self playing it for the first time. 10/10

Sorry to bother you again, but appreciate if you can help me out. Played single player operation "Black Horse". After finishing, no replay shows under the replay tab. I've got the option to save replays checked in settings. Any idea why I am not able to view my game replay?

These tutorials are great. However, the music is a bit distracting. I don't mind if you turn it off, or lower the volume.

Hello again! Quick question. Can I save a skirmish or operation mid-game and be able to load and continue the game at a later date OR does the WARNO autosave feature only work with completed games? Can't seem to find an answer to this question anywhere within the game or online searching. Thanks! :)

Excellent video, sir! Perfect timing for me to find as just bought WARNO yesterday. Your commentary was very informative not only for your thought process but also explaining the strengths of the many different units and when and how to use them efficiently in battle! Looking forward to seeing your next video fighting against "medium AI" (and hopefully "hard" AI in the future), as I am focused on single player gameplay so will be playing lots of AI opponents as time goes on. May I suggest playing the same division yourself and also the same AI division on the same battle map? That way the only changing variable is the AI as you move forward playing better and better AI. Red Alert 1 was my first ever RTS, i played on B&W monitor because we were poor. I have a fond memory of this game...

Delta - isnt that a shoutout to Black Hawk Down ? pretty sure one of the Delta team was doing recon early on in full civvies (but its been ages since i have seen that movie..) Light ATGM: with you on the stealth buff, I really wonder why is Eugen fighting against increased lethality and stealth. I would like for those units to remain hidden until the ATGM at least has a chance to hit the target before it is visible from low orbit.. You know, especially for vehicles that are literally designed to fire from concealed positions... Choppers: cant wait to see how those elite helicopters shred (as they should)

Urban frontline is such a freaking hot map! Hope we get a ranked version of it soon! And yes its looks quite close to the Real town of Lehrte that it is based on. Also Mi-6 crew thought it would be a winter war... jokes on them.

Click baity title, but I'll let it slide this once because this video has a lot of good stuff in it, and I agree with much of what you said throughout, unfortunately that includes how EA has likely given up on RTS in general, let alone C&C... Shame they don't just let Westwood start back up again and let them remake / remaster Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun properly. Damn, that would be incredible! Maybe somewhere down the line, C&C Generals and Zero hour can have the same wonderful treatment. The music in all those games have aged like wine too 😊

Does it actually use aydin grass? I use aydin but the green is just not like that

I love this one. Playing since day 1. Mostly playing Skirmish with/against friends or AI. I played Wargame Airland Battle, Red Dragon and Steel Division 1 and 2 but think this is ahead of em.

Also to note, all campaign has an order to play it, so it is not like your good ol, Allied only, Soviet only. No! You jumping from one side to another, so on one point you play on Allied mission, next thing you know you play as Yuri! This method is far more engaging to know the story in one concrete line instead of the typical finishing one side then do the other
