Man... Favourite general... I loved Airforce and Infantry the most... But I also just loved the rest of the game honestly, the only ones I didn't care for were laser and toxin. Infantry is just absurd and it's hilarious to just spam the same healing infantry carrier that can also shoot down aircrafts without flares working to hinder the damage output. Because somehow that guy inside of a truck can shoot and hit a jet! Hilarious! And for Airforce... Well... Jets are cool... Done? Air supremacy is really hard to disagree with.

5:16 - Sorry to nitpick, but that's does not really look like a claymore to me. Claymores have relatively wide and forward swept crossguards with those frilly things at the end. Looks more like a longsword by shape, with fantasy-ishly broad blade, and way oversized of course, even compared to a zweihänder.

AI *spams units with 3x more points that a player can* Bandeanner: Oh, they are really trying... I like that! What a gigachad. As a lvl 10, I tried to play hardest AI on Deathrow Training and got repeatedly smashed.

Just started playing this yesterday. Before watching vids I picked the Frontier 73C. Now have the Suppressed variant. Are there any drawbacks to some of the variants, ex. Suppressed ?

Funnily enough, ,the Adeptus mechanicus part of the mod is the most tabletop accurate of the new factions added : - Necrons are a weird mix of Dow1 necrons with 2 "modern" tabletop unit added (the Tomb blade and the Lychguards) -The Tau lack a good part of their tabletop roster and their more iconic exo-armor, the Xv8 Crisis, should not be T3 but T2 - the Grey Knight are weirdly implemented (Purifiers reduced to "carries Flamethrowers" physically hurt me .. they are supposed to be so pure of mind and sould that they can just burn corruption around them BY THOUGHTS) Kataphron Destroyers are not based on Necron tech nor naming scheme : its just a Kataphron battle servitor that use long ranged heavy weapons to destroy the ennemy ... hence "Destroyer", in opposition to the Breachers, that are the more "Melee/short range" variant. Sicarian Ruststalkers are basically meant to be pseudo-assassins : their blades (named transsonic blades) basically vibrate at a set frequency, and when they strike armour, these weapons adjust their hostile sonic field to match the armour's resonant frequency, quickly slicing right through it.

Algorithm brought this to me, nice. I got into this mod maybe late last year and it utterly ruined my sleep schedule for a while because I could just not put it down. I've always loved the red alert universe, particularly 2 because it was wacky sure but it had a certain grounded feeling to it since a lot of the out there units were along the lines of "okay but what if all this cold war secret research actually worked?" or similar ideas. Where as 3 was just completely off the rails goofy and I didn't really like that. Everything from expanding on the setting with the new subfactions and faction, to all the lore written out on all the units, to the way the campaign handles mission pacing and ESPECIALLY the mission updates being really well timed and executed, despite being for a game from around 2002-ish if I remember right, Mental Omega is in my opinion the greatest RTS of all time. And it just keeps getting better; one of the recent things they've unveiled in a devblog is expanded tooltips which greatly helps with one of the most annoying and obtuse things about both the base game and mental omega.

no offense mate, but a bit dissapointed.i thought you doing some close up shots on the units.recieving fire, fiering back, destruction from close range.but tbh i think its simply not possible with the current options for live action content.having ego perspectives like in the recent trailers, from tanks and planes, choppers alike with reticle view from inside the cockpit.camera following ordenance automaticly on its path to the target.that woud be crazy and woud make some pretty impressive machinima content on warno possible.otherwise, nice attempt to bring some dynamic into the tactical (rather static) battles d(@_@)d

I know an older video & understanding maybe diff now, although new to understanding these games myself, but a lot of your infantry were lost driving into a flag or town and enemy tanks and AT just took out your vehicles with all the men inside, most need to be unloaded way before and approach on foot to use their weapons etc. I suspect as your thought in middle large engagement - Maybe AI for some of the units so you can control what you have more, with a lot of RTS I find myself if doing too much its all clicking in and placing and not able to strategize or zoom in and enjoy. RIP troops - hand out more Vodka :)

HoMM actually looks more promising than the slop they churned out ever since 4. Civilization.. we'll see. I still have PTSD from Civ 1, when my first PC was rendering the discovery screen for 3 minutes, pixel by pixel, and having my tank destroyed by a roman legionarie...

Can you even compare the two atm Broken Arrow isn't out until June 2025. The versions tested were beta etc? Both seem good but at different stages of development. Also Brigade Commander II is out now (not on steam) so adding to the choices.
