Can you give me some general directions on how to create a template to do the entire cup (wrap)? Should I cover the cup with paper, then cut, scan the template? Thanks - love the design. It really pops on a black cup.
For that system, I would run at 100% power, 65% speed, 1000 Hz at 500 Dpi single pass on the Tumblers, then order the “Blu” powder coat cleaner to wipe clean.enduramark.com/products/blu-powder-coating-residue-cleaner
Is the second pass i see being done for the means of keeping slow enough speeds for the rotary, therefore needing a second pass? Also, is the second pass just being a rerun of the engrave or a different speed/power setting altogether?
Due to the reflectivity of metal when most coated metals like this are engraved, the energy from the laser beam is reflected away from painted metals before the laser energy can completely remove the coating, this second pass is not entirely necessary as the results look good with one pass but in order to completely remove the coating to produce the shiny polished metal look it is necessary to either run a second pass of the laser, clean the surface with chemicals or mechanically clean (Magic Eraser) the surface to remove the last 0.01% of the coating. Settings do not need to be adjusted for this, just run 2 passes at the same settings.

How can you make it go over a second time in the exact same place? When I run it a second time on my rayjet 300 , its usually off by a bit.
