I have to agree with you on these movies. They don't even follow the comic source material. They need to be better written. And these characters are very developed but they are not on screen. Also they take the source material and mix them up in different stories. So I truly believe the marvel movies can be better. And yes they are fun but again could be better. I also love the 1st iron man, Captain America the first 2. Also you don't have to make the source material perfect but at least keep the main characters in tact. Also Tony Stark character was great in the 1st but then went down in every movie. Good review and good analysis. At least you are honest.
I largely agree with Wolf here. Iron Man, Winter Soldier, and Doctor Strange are easily the best ones. Spider-Man Homecoming was also good, just not great, but Far From Home sucked as it removed pretty much all established character development from the previous movie to suck off Tony Stark. Not much else has changed from Marvel as of late, although I will say, and I know I may be in the minority here, I actually really liked the recently released Eternals a lot, though there are still elements of it I will criticize, especially in regards to some of the final battle and its inaccuracies towards the original comics. Marvel usually tries to remain close to their established canon with their movies, so the fact that very little of Eternals had anything to do with the comics is unusual to me. It's still a good story imo, with easily some of the best visuals and characters in the MCU, but Chloe Zhao basically did to Eternals what Stanley Kubrick did to The Shining, if that makes sense.
