Bruh you’re actually my inspiration for starting a clothing brand. Thanks so much for this video
Preciate it man!
Did it work out?
Did it workout
Less talk more work!
I guess im randomly asking but does someone know a method to log back into an Instagram account?
I was dumb lost my login password. I would love any help you can give me
for anyone who doesn't have the budget for the circut, the photo emulsion method is technically cheaper, you can get your designs print on transparent paper at staples and burn it into your screen. the photo emulsion has a removing agent so you can still reuse the screen. also, for water based paints like speedball, they do not remove once completely dry, make sure to wash your ink as soon as possible or your screen will be messed up.
Once you burn your transparent design print can you reuse it ? If you wash it would it disappear also ?
@@dman984 you should be able to reuse your transparent paper to burn your screen over and over. As for the image on your screen, depending on the level of detail you have, you should be able to wash out the ink and reprint at least a couple dozen times, with water inks time is very important. When you want to remove the image you’ll need emulsion remover and a greaser to prep your screen for another image. The whole concept of screen printing is supposed to be its reuse ability. Definitely do research on the burning process, it’s the most important aspect of your image quality.
what equipment would I need to burn the image from the transparent to the screen?
@@dman984 yes. You can save arouse image many times.
Emulsion seems way easier and cheaper in my experience, ive never tried a vinyl image
Bro, your life would be sooooooo much easier, IF you just had a roll of transfer tape. It was painful watching that step 😂😂
what’s that
@@worldsninja What’s what? Transfer tape? It’s sticky tape that you press over your image, then you put the image down, rub it, and then peel off the tape and then it’s there… You don’t have to manually move it and place it all down yourself.
@@worldsninja Google transfer tape lol
@@amandarogers8877 that was my first thought as I was cringing, watching him "eyeball it" yelling at my phone "this video is a year old but my God I hope he learned about transfer tape since then!" 😂
@@ItsMrAhole2U exactly what I’m hoping too 😂
Back in my day we cut out designs in Fruit Roll Ups with exacto knives then lick through the silk till we could taste the fruit and fun rolled up in one.
Love when people do professional stuff like this but show you how to do it cheaply
Thank you for addressing the people with low funds this really helped me I'm about to make my own
thank you for making this video. your the only person who isn't like "don't do it cheap buy a $300 cruit machine and $600 screen printing materials". I just wanna try it to see if I enjoy it i dont wanna start a full-blown fashion line right away.
I buy the dollar store clear contact paper.I cut on my cricut, for my projects..
Transfer tape is great but it's really nice to watch tutorials that use minimal supplies
Tip: you can actually use masking tape for transferring the foil
Man how ??
the misprint registered symbol makes it look better lol.
fr
Dude thank you so much. The main roadblock for me starting my clothing brand was the amount of money it takes to get everything. I can’t wait to get started
how do you clean the screen prints & how many times can you use that? I use htv vinyl but want to try screen printing
So under 50 dollars IF you have a cutter already.
Or an exacto knife
@@rhubiking u can do it with an exacto knife?
You can get you design printed on Etsy, and go from there and make your screen
i think you can also order some from fedex for an affordable price
@@jamarmartin884 it’s sold out🥲
p.s. i only use acrylic paint I heat set, wait 72 hrs the wash & wear, has not washed off yet !
this is soooo helpful tysm. i run an etsy and have been wanting to expand from just being a sticker maker to putting my art on apparel. i was nervous about how much money i would spend trying to screenprint, and this was the most helpful vid so far
The amount of real in this video is appreciated. you really meant in a budget and my pockets thank you my brother!
the mistake u made actually looked kinda sick tho
@Corbin Salvatore thats how you lose trust but okay
factsss
You should get transfer tape for your vinyl. It would help so much
I used to do this in high school but with pieces of paper, the stencils wouldn’t last long but it was fun!
This was amazing! I needed to make a pattern for a cosplay but didn't want to get a whole kit for one shirt. Thank you for making this impressive and informative
Photo emulsion is so easy to use though but I respect the grind making your own way
Just buy the speedball starter screen printing kit comes with screen squeegee and like 3 or 4 paints
Bro this video was so clutch ! Going to try this ASAP!
Tip. Use transfer paper. It can be as simple as the shelf lining clear paper from walmart or dollartree
not as high quality
That’s dope brother Preciate the tip .. very helpful
I use the duck brand clear shelf liner from Walmart as my transfer tape, it would make that process so much easier!!
You can use transfer tape for vinyl. It would make it so much easier
Gaku: “items you’ll need”
Me: ¿Que hacemos con Tapatío?
Transfer tape is your friend for getting the vinyl onto the screen❤️
this is the best video that i have seen on youtube for beginners, lots of people talk about heating machines and printers, and other things that are way to complicated for a beginner, thank you so much for making it easy.
Yeah I’ve done this I would Defintly recommend getting transfer tape
If you mirror the image you can use transfer paper to put it on the screen. May be easier.
Thank you so much for this video, it explains everything I needed to know!! I got so much out of it- thanks mate!! Liked and definitely subscribed 😎👌
wow this was actually super helpful
Something I would highly suggest investing in is some transfer paper.
this is way easier than using emulsion and i thank you for this
No it isn’t lol, it’s quite the headache
So do you have to create your own shirt brand in order to print and sell the shirt? please someone answer me
are you trying to start a printing business? if not, you can definitely just make shirts for yourself. use T-Shirts from places like blankstyle.com or blankapparel.com
This video really helped bro! I’m glad you explained everything to the T.
oh my goddd WHY DIDNT I THINK OF PICTURE FRAMES thank youuu
Use transfer tape when transferring stencil to the screen. Will make life so much easier.
Was just about to say the same thing
You need transfer paper. Glad press n seal works well for cheap.
Very articulate 👌
I've never seen someone use vinyl for this!
Question can u put up a list of items that are needed
this video was extremely helpful, ty for taking the time to make this 🌞
Where you say you “fuck up” the R and S I think looks like a nice touch
I’ve been doing this for years. Good video.
Thank you so much
You made this very easy to understand, thank you!!
Love your personality ❤️
Dollar store sells clear contact paper u could use. Cheaper alternative
Lower quality.
Thank youuuuu man
great video!! thank you for your idea i can start making my own designed tees! Arigatou!! Hey I saw you are drinking Cafe ore coffee which japanese one love it too!!
This is awesome - thanks! How do you clean the screen between prints/ is that necessary?
Now I'm tryna make my own skate gear 🤷♂️
Thank you
Amazing video! Also love the Tchaikovsky shirt too
Use transfer tape yall it’s easier than eyeballing 😭
Thank you so much this is amazing
Saved me so much time and money. Freaking amazing.
I’m so thankful for this video. It was very detailed. I just have one question. Why not use HTV? I ask because I curious about the longevity.
Some people like the feel of ink inside of the cotton versus htv on top
@@charlesm4858 Ooooh, okay. Thank you!
Thank you bro, very informative! 👑
make a video about puff printing
Put tape on the vinyl that make it easier to transfer
the shop on etsy where you ordered the vinyls is closed, anyone have another shop i could purchase from?
So you happen to remember the name
thank you this was aMazinG
You may want to use a clean cheese cloth and stick your transfer paper on it a few times to knock off some of that stickiness. Otherwise, you’ll end up ripping half your design up just as you can by not using transfer tape. Your best bet is to use a mild sticky paper. The one you showed is not mild at all.
And one more thing, if you can buy a heat press (I bought a 12x15 swing arm) for around 160 bucks. After the paint mostly dries, I just press my shirts for 30 seconds at 300 degrees.
Got a question, if you already have a cricut, why not just buy vinyl and make your shirts with that? I only tried the screen printing (the way you did it here) because I thought it would look more like a printed shirt and feel soft, but honestly it feels the same to me. Just curious.
ty so much for all the links and so on, but where did u purchase ur vinyl cutting maschine ?
Great video
Great video bro! Thanks!
Would you mind sending a link or letting me know which exact silhouette cutter you have?/ would recommend? :)
Thank you so much for this!!!
Is there a reason you put the design on the front of the screen and not the back?
Ok.... but where did you get that tchaikovsky shirt
Your amazing bro thank you so much.
Very well done!
Honestly no video has helped like this one, subbed 💪🏽
Whoa! This is a game changer
Great video!!!
Yooooo this is major man, appreciate you 🙏🏽
Can you jus clean that screen and put a new vinyl on it and keep re using it?!
i went on etsy to creat a decal which one exaclty is it because theres a few different ones
Would a blow dryer replace the heat gun?
Transfer Tape bro
This might be a stupid question, but if i want to do more then one color, do i just print the second color same way as the first on top?
Oh my god!!!
Dude, get some transferfoil.
Can you print on rain jacket material? And can you reuse these screens. How do you clean to make multiple shirts? This is an amazing technique btw. Thanks for making this video.
I love you for this
This was super helpful, thanks gango
thank you so much haha
So screen printing is like spray painting stencils
Bro! Thanks for this video my guy
Use transfer tape my brother
Hi, I’m new to screen printing. Thanks for the helpful video… do you not use emulsion for this method? And how do you clean your screens when you are done? Thanks👍🏼👍🏼
How do you cut the design into the vinyl?
he has a cutter machine you could probably use an exact to knife
Nice design
thumbnail hoodie is fire, is that your brand?
do you have to have multiple vinyls or can you use one design of the vinyl for all ur shirts
You can reuse one piece of vinyl to print the same pattern on many shirts if that's what you're asking
Life saver
