What you make is soo beautiful. I have just started making pots and your videos are really helpful and inspiring. would you mind sharing the blue glaze recipe as I've tied so many times without success to get a good blue.
Those two tone mugs with the carvings are so gorgeous! You mentioned you could share your glaze recipes. Would you please share the green and brown glazes on the two-tone mug and the opal? Thank you so much!
Hi Patricia - thank you for your kind words :) Sure the brown is this one: glazy.org/recipes/56085 The green is this one: glazy.org/recipes/32034 and the opal is this one: glazy.org/recipes/131996 Thank you!
I just love all your makes! Was looking at your website and I think I might be emailing you 1st of next year when we decide to get new place settings. I love the shape and style of your dinnerware!
I loooove your videos ! They are so inspirational ! I was wondering if you would make a video of how you clean your pottery space and how you keep it "healthy" to work in (silica dust) ?
Thank you and I'm so glad you are enjoying the videos :) Yes that is something I've been thinking more and more about and really trying to keep on top of cleaning - we just had a massive clear out and took everything out of the studio to do a deep clean so everything is looking so great now. It would def make a great video xx
@@BlankEarthCeramics Wow good job !! You must feel so good in your pottery studio now 😀 Looking forward to seeing your futur videos, they are all so amazing !!! xx from Switzerland
Thank you! You can sometime glaze a piece that has already gone through the kiln by warming it up and then dipping into the glaze or brushing it on but the results can be variable. Our option would be to look into varnishes to give it a shine too x
