You're not losing. You're gaining. I am an American with no lineage to Indian culture and I would fight to defend your beauty as a nation and as a people. Your culture is desperately needed in the US, and your existence is appreciated and is to be protected, I agree with this.
yes, indian culture is not just very rich and filled with so many varieties, but so unbalivabelyand intricately layered, it is unbelivable, we cannot even comprehend that richness.
Bharatnatyam is most difficult dance in our India...her first step was balancing their body. That was so difficult to balance body.... I have no words for your dance.... 🙁🙁😍😍😍😍
Isn't it mesmerising, enchnating, feels like one could watch for ever - Superb performance ! so exquisite . I am grateful to people who learn our classic s and keep them alive - It triggers a spark for me to learn as well !
The Great Dance, Done very well. Supports Vical very nicely, Micro mixed with Supporting Instruments & Great Nattuvangam . Fantastic Steps exhibiteed well that what i seen before , “Bho Shambho” Panchapakesan, Retired NRE Living in Bombay.
Because you are Indian. I'm new to it and to my ear he sounds like any other Indian singing/music. I kind of like the traditional Indian music and dance, just haven't gotten into it before.
The pentatonic ragam revathi always seems to give goosebumps to most (including me) and evoke pathos, I have tried to look up any specific reasons for it, some say it could be the steep move from rishabha to madhyama or it could just very well be the specific movement of Swarams in that and also that it goes continuously to the highest octave crescendo without back and forth movements. Nevertheless it’s quite a powerful raga, I am curious to know how musicians or serious music lovers of other genres feel. I have felt similarly with some specific compositions of other genres as well. There is a violin piece by L Subramaniyam in revathi of just the ragam Alapana and that would be a good place to start for any that would be curious about this ragam.

Are they performing two separate dance forms? Some are saying the lady in green is performing Bharatnatyam while the one in orange is performing Kuchipudi. Is that true?
Hi, who has done nattuvangam / vocals on this audio track? I have learnt a similar version ewith the same nattuvanar / vocalist, but do not know who he is, so I am very curious!
Our classical dance far far better and tricky than Bollywood.
Our Indian culture must be preserved and carried forward.
k k Totally agree...We are losing our identity n culture
