✨ Thank you so much Ronny and Diana (with your team) for all you do. Well appreciated. Could you do more fading effects and photo enhancement videos when you have sometime? Thanks again, awesome duo.
Love all your tutorials! How are you showing yourself onscreen when demonstrating the site (not in a circle or square) and moving yourself around? I love that and am so curious how to do it.
Hey there Susan, It's a combination of having a green screen in the studio, the proper lighting to make sure your green screen is properly lit and an effect called ultra key that we use in our editing software (Premiere Pro) to get rid of the background. So far there’s no one-button-solution to achieve this result, it’s a bit of work but with some practice you’ll for sure get it right!
Great video, thanks. I have been trying to find a way to make an animation that looks like someone scrolling through RUclips or Netflix thumbnails. The closest thing I see is using a still image of let's say the RUclips homepage and then applying the combination "simple" effect. Do you have any other ideas? I think I could also bring in a short video clip into Canva and then add text that way.
Hey Michael, I think your best bet would be indeed to record your screen while scrolling through these thumbnails, that's not gonna be easy to reproduce in Canva 🤔
Thank you so much for this video...for all of your tutorials! I must admit, I am slightly addicted to watching y'all channel. I am also enrolled in your updated Udemy course - It's fabulous! Thanks again for making learning fun! ✨ I absolutely love that websites are now available to everyone and the pro-feature offering analytics! That's huge!! THANK YOU!!!!! I was going to apply for Canva Creator and by the time I prepared the illustrations for my portfolio to upload as per Canva rules, they closed the application form. Just aplied now, wish me luck!!
Hi. ✨This is the first video of yours that I was privileged to come across, and it is excellent on so many levels. I use Canva but it has frustrated me as I am used to Adobe InDesign. But that program is just too expensive now for personal use. What has frustrated me the most is in typesetting the leading-adjusting what it should be along with a heading of more than one line. I mean, if I want to bring up the body of the copy up to the heading, the heading leading decreases as well! Sometimes I think I’ve figured it out and sometimes I’m mystified. I’ve noticed, too, that there are set limits as to how far blocks of copy or an element can move up or down. I mean, I can’t “fine tune” or nudge the distance I want to move something; it “jumps” to the next available space with no way to move it somewhere in between. I’m afraid this is hard to follow. Otherwise, there isn’t a lot that Canva can’t do that I’m used to doing with InDesign, and some things are even easier.
Hi Dennia, thanks for sharing your experience with Canva and InDesign with us. Maybe you are experiencing these types of issues because the text boxes you are using are grouped together? Also, you can move elements 1px in any direction by selecting them and using your keyboard arrows 😉
I've only recently found you, and I'm so glad I did! I've been using Canva for several years and I'm STILL learning from your videos, so thank you for that! Here's my question...when you go to the 'Videos' section in your Canva, I see you have a button at the top of the videos that says "Record yourself". I don't have that button, and I'm a Pro user. Is that a feature for Enterprise only, or do you get to preview upcoming features? (Watching online and don't know how to leave a sparkle emoji, but I always watch to the end! And you're one of the few I watch at normal speed, without setting playback to 1.25 or 1.5 times faster, LOL!)
Haha, hello Wesley 👋 I'm honoured you watch my videos at normal speed 😉 You should find the "Record yourself" button under the "Uploads" tab. Let me know if you see it there 😊 The feature is available to all users.
@@TeamRonDi Thanks so much for that...I did some digging last night and discovered the 'Record Yourself' option only shows up in the Chrome browser...I primarily use (and prefer) Firefox, but when I opened up Canva in Chrome, there it was!
Thank you for Sharing with us this information. I have a question not related to Canva, what software do you use when you’re showing us these videos? I like how you "put yourself" on the bottom right corner of your screen and you show us what’s going on on your computer. How do you do that?
Hey there Neema, It's a combination of having a green screen in the studio, the proper lighting to make sure your green screen is properly lit and an effect called ultra key that we use in our editing software (Premiere Pro) to get rid of the background. So far there’s no one-button-solution to achieve this result, it’s a bit of work but with some practice you’ll for sure get it right!
Hi Marian 👋 Thanks for the lovely feedback! We use a combination of OBS and QuickTime to record our talking heads and screen recording and our editor edits in Premiere Pro. All the supporting graphics are usually created in Canva.
Yes, there are actually a couple of ways. We have this playlist about creating animations with Canva, I’m sure you’ll learn a lot here: ruclips.net/p/PL2jU5A3fxwC_MjxgZMc52not3sdi0650K

Your video was helpful; I'm a new subscriber. Is there a way to add metadata and key words to our own projects? I am not a contributor. I am a photographer and I do have the Canva Pro plan. Having these features is so important to me. I'm having to open my Canva images in other apps to add it. What are your suggestions? Thank you.
Hey Maria, I’ve seen that Canva recently added the option for users to add tags on the photos they upload. For that, you’ll want to go to “My projects” from the homepage and edit the photos you’ve uploaded.
You can, but only if you use a little trick (and have access to the BG Remover via Canva Pro). The trick is to download your text as a PNG with transparent BG, then reupload that image into Canva and use the "Edit image" button to add the Glow Shadow. That can become an outline around your text. I've a tutorial coming about this soon, keep your 👀 on the channel 😉
Hey Anne, Well, if it's letters (basically, text element), I'm assuming you've tried the explored the "Shadow" and/or "Lift" options "Effects" but didn't get the required effect? Another thing you might want to try is Duplicate your letter/element, make it all a solid black (or whatever color line you want), then enlarge it just a little and then put it right behind your original element. Hope this helps. Cheers !!

Great to see Canva coming out with all these *sparkling* new features. It really is an amazing tool. I invested in some fancy publishing & design software that has some advanced features, but I still use Canva for a lot of things because it has everything in one place. It's just so darn easy to use.
Oh . . . my favorite new feature is probably the ability to follow a designer. It would be great if there was a "personalized newsfeed" where we could just get a page full of the most recent templates and elements created by designers we follow. The Canva Creators advice was awesome. Recently, I bought myself a Video Influencer Tutorial Strategy Journal from Amazon so I can take notes from all these influencers that share their ideas and strategies. I made this mistake for years of not taking notes. Just watching these video ideas & insights is not enough.

✨ thank you for all of these great information 🥂 I love the connecting links. Because I remembered when I made a presentation it was really hard ton connect things together with grouping the arrow and the element. ❤️
✨Hey Ronny, thank you so much for another great video. I have a search question for you. I know Canva has lots of photos from different sources: Getty, pixabay, etc. If I find a photographer on another site and want to see if that image exists on Canva, how would I search for that particular photographer in Canva? The photographers in Canva appear to be listed by BRAND: Is there a key somewhere where I can look up a photographer's Brand code so I can do a search? If you start with a photo on Canva you can find other images by the same photographer, but what if I'm starting with a photographer's name because I found a photo I liked on istock/Getty, Pixabay, etc.? So all I have is the name of the photographer. Is it possible to do a search in Canva for any photos by photographer's name?
Hey there, great question... and unfortunately, unless you know the Brand code of the photographer you won't be able to search by photographer. Searching by name won't help much I'm afraid. Let's hope Canva simplifies this in the future 🤞
@@TeamRonDi Thanks for the response. Yes, it would indeed be quite helpful if Canva can provide this function in the future. Or give us a way to look up photographer names by Brand.
Canva told us that these websites are SEO friendly. So I don't know if they rank well (that would depend on your niche, the quality of your content and a thousand other factors 😅), but they will rank.
For now you can discover new Creators via the template page. Just click on the profile picture next to the templates that you enjoy to land on the Creator’s profile. You can follow from there. The other option is to know the name of the Creator. Let’s hope Canva adds some other (easier) ways to find Creators in the future 🤞

Hey there,
great question... and unfortunately, unless you know the Brand code of the photographer you won't be able to search by photographer.
The folder arrangement and connecting graphics will be helpful for me. Thanks for the video.
Glad to hear that, thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙏
Thanks Rony for this video, very useful, look I´d like to know with which program I can make fixtures and how to upload them to canva as a creator?
People use different types of softwares but mostly Adobe illustrator and indesign I'd say.
✨Thanks so much! Organizational helps are great!
Glad you enjoyed it Deb ✨

✨ thanks :-) Question are canva websites well ranked on Google ? what about SEO ?
Canva told us that these websites are SEO friendly.
So I don't know if they rank well (that would depend on your niche, the quality of your content and a thousand other factors 😅), but they will rank.
✨️ You and Diana are my productivity angels❣️ Your videos really help me save time in discovering/learning new features in Canva. Thanks so much!

Does Canva allow us to change the thumbnail for sites? or will a site stil show the thumbnail as that of Canva's itself?
I don't think it does so far.
This is something we've been asking for a while now. Let's hope they consider it soon 🤞
@@TeamRonDi amen! Will make the website experience complete
Hi Ronny, I may of missed this but how do you find out who you are following if you cannot remember the names? Thanks in advance
