Thank you, Josh! I have waited so long for this review. If Tiempo Legend 6 AG is about 8 ounce and Mercurial Vapor 11 AG is about 7 ounce, I believe Tiempo Legend 6 FG could easily be 7 ounce range if it implement Mercurial stud like Francesco Totti edition. If less comport elements are used like Tiempo Legacy or even Genio with Mercurial studs and soleplate, shoe could be 6 ounce range. I tried leather vapor version, but the leather was a lot thinner than I would want them to be. As a result leather stretched too much, and shoe was not durable at all. So it would be kinda cool to see, shoe that features actual Tiempo Legend/Lagacy upper with Mercurial soleplate.
Hello Josh. Thank you for your reviews. I currently own a pair of MV XI on the AG pro version. ( I usually play on AG grass). As you may already know the MV is a tight fitting shoe. I do not have a big problem with comfort, but the other night I took one of the insoles out ( it was slightly sticky), and I realized that it got a bit more flexible with the fitting. It is obviously less tight having more room in the toe box, but also slightly less responsive. Would u recommend or approve taking out the insole for "better comfort"? What are your thoughts on that? Obviously the insole is there for a reason, but the fitting go significantly more flexible. Thank you
Comfort is something that you have to judge on your own. I can't say that I've ever worn boots with no insoles, but ion you tried it and liked, by all means continue to do it. You have to decide what feels better on your feet for yourself.
Hey Josh, do you recommend the AG pro versions to wear on those black-rubber pitches only? I have a really new and modern AG pitch at my club thats a mixure of 70% sand and 30% granules. The AG "grass" is also pretty short and the pitch feels 99% like a short-grass pitch, but ofc its not the same. Would you say it's kinda "okay" to play on a modern pitch like that with FG boots or is it better to play with AG boots no matter how good the pitch is?
Hi Josh, I just wore my superfly 5 for the first time recently, they fit me perfectly but i felt some cramping on the arches of my feet, presumably because of the nike plate soleplate, did this happen to you at first? hopefully i just need to get used to it
That's something that is very specific to you, not necessarily something that will happen to everyone. I didn't have any issues with that. If you're not used to wearing really tight fitting boots like that, or if you tied them too tight, those are the two most likely reasons for foot cramping. It isn't the soleplate. As long as they don't feel uncomfortable when you put them on, that's something that should stop being an issues after a few wears.
Josh, I really need your help! Do you think that the Vapor 11 AG is still worth the money over the Veloce III AG considering they have the same soleplate, is the upper worth all the extra money?
Josh those two bladed studs on the heel have to be seen as a risk factor on 3G or even newer "4G" turf, why not just make them all conical. Also what are your thoughts on playing on turf with a shorter moulded stud like a copa mundial vs a true ag with more studs than the copa, hollow, but the same length? Is the hallow part the deciding factor here when selecting ag vs a moulded conical stud?
It's not a concern. When you're twisting/pivoting, you're not going to have your heel planted. You do however want a solid amount of grip when planting for a strike, which is why I think they put those two bladed studs in, as you plant with your heel first during a strike.
Josh, I know you like sneakers, I want to see a review of the Allbirds running sneakers... They are a NZ company to claim they have the most comfortable shoe in the world.
hi Josh, question for you: do you know why puma authentic jerseys do not come in size S? it seems like they only come in M and larger? (I wanted to ask this question when you reviewed the nike aeroswifts, but i can't find that video now)
Hey josh! Quick question, so my school team mostly plays on dirt and it's really hard. There's no grass whatsoever. What type of studs do you recommend Bc I'm pretty sure Ima be slipping with the evo power vigor 1 studs.
Hey Josh, for high school I play mostly on turf but there are some games where I play on grass, and when club comes around it's mostly grass. I only want to buy one pair of cleats per year, so what sole plate would you recommend? Would AG or FG be better to use universally?
I prefer the new AG-Pro stud pattern. Mainly because it feels more like a FG stud pattern, which is more along the lines of what I'm used to wearing most of the time.
Ey josh can you do a review, or do you know why Barcelona is selling their authentic jerseys with no sponsorship? Meanwhile when they play they have a sponsorship
hey Josh, a bit late but is this ag-pro plate stiffer and feel much higher in the heel than the ag-r? I used to play really comfortable in ag-r, but not so much in adidas fg/ag (which seems like the same stud length in ag-pro - I almost sprained my ankle in those few times actually). thanks! edit: I play in artificial grass.
Hey josh I will buy this shoes But i am in trouble because of the size. My x15.1size is 9 Magista finale2 size is 9.5 And my mercurial victory6 size is 9 But I heard that the vapor upper can increasing So i am really worried Which is more better? Size 9 or 9.5?
I mest Giroud and Cech at the evoPOWER Vigor 1 launch event. I can't say that I've played with any pro players outside of Canada or the US. Here and there in a practice or pick up type environment. That's about it.
I have them, the Nike Mercurial Vapor 11 AG, but in the Spark Brilliance colorway. It's really good on both AG and FG
Ohso okay for Fg? Does it differ eith the Fg stud pattern in terms of acceleration? Even compRed to the other mercurials with regular fg studs?
Thank you, Josh! I have waited so long for this review.

Would these be good for ice hockey?
Yes.

well done for reaching 400 k subs
Are you going to review some indoor shoes any time soon?
Yes.
Hey I WOULD LIKE TO BUY I BUT it’s sold where can I buy it Now!?

It depends on the depth of the surface. If it's deep enough, you should be fine with these. If it's more shallow, a turf shoe would be better.
My dream boot is Legend 6 with Vapor 11 sole plate.

Which should i choose ? Adidas X 16.1 and Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 in floodlight pack ?
I personally prefer the Hypervenoms, but they're both solid. It just depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.
Tks you for your reply
tell me about injuries, I played two straight games with evospeed SL with it's long ass dots in ag and now I can'tplay for a big while
Im still recovering, I'm missing the tryouts for a good academy because of that

Hi josh, so I can use this for Fg still?
Josh, I know you like sneakers, I want to see a review of the Allbirds running sneakers... They are a NZ company to claim they have the most comfortable shoe in the world.
Soccer Reviews For You Do you know any place they still sell the vapor 11?
hi Josh, question for you: do you know why puma authentic jerseys do not come in size S? it seems like they only come in M and larger? (I wanted to ask this question when you reviewed the nike aeroswifts, but i can't find that video now)
I'm not sure if they do or don't make them in that size.
The Qatar Airways sponsor, why is it missing ? will it come back?
Waiting for mine to come so excited
Hey josh! Quick question, so my school team mostly plays on dirt and it's really hard. There's no grass whatsoever. What type of studs do you recommend Bc I'm pretty sure Ima be slipping with the evo power vigor 1 studs.
You should probably go for a turf shoe.
Hey Josh, Won't the mud get stuck into the studs because they have holes?
Sure it could. Why would that matter though?
Hey Josh, for high school I play mostly on turf but there are some games where I play on grass, and when club comes around it's mostly grass. I only want to buy one pair of cleats per year, so what sole plate would you recommend? Would AG or FG be better to use universally?
If you're buying a Nike boot, AG-Pro would be your best option.
Soccer Reviews For You Thanks
Josh! Keep up the good work!
Would you prefer the AG-Pro or the AG-R? And why?
I prefer the new AG-Pro stud pattern. Mainly because it feels more like a FG stud pattern, which is more along the lines of what I'm used to wearing most of the time.
Ey josh can you do a review, or do you know why Barcelona is selling their authentic jerseys with no sponsorship? Meanwhile when they play they have a sponsorship
Which sponsorship are you referring to?
hey Josh, a bit late but is this ag-pro plate stiffer and feel much higher in the heel than the ag-r? I used to play really comfortable in ag-r, but not so much in adidas fg/ag (which seems like the same stud length in ag-pro - I almost sprained my ankle in those few times actually). thanks!
edit: I play in artificial grass.
The studs are definitely taller, but the soleplate isn't stiff.
Hey josh I will buy this shoes
But i am in trouble because of the size.
My x15.1size is 9
Magista finale2 size is 9.5
And my mercurial victory6 size is 9
But I heard that the vapor upper can increasing
So i am really worried
Which is more better?
Size 9 or 9.5?
Are you referring to US sizing?
Yes
Which is better , the Adidas x 15.1 or x 16.1
I wouldn't really say that one is better, they're simply different.
Did you watch el clasico today? And if so what did you think of the match?
I didn't get to watch.
Can you compare the old ag-r to the new ag pro stud patterns?
Josh what was your opinion on the clasico?
I didn't get to watch.
Would anything bad happen to the cleat if you use it Firm Ground?
No. You can actually get away with the Nike AG-Pro stud pattern on natural grass.
Hey Josh have you ever experienced any sole seperation from Puma evoPOWER 1.3?
Never.
why arent there are AG-Pro studs for the time to shine colourways?
They don't make every stud pattern available on every single shoe unfortunately.
Does the superfly V ag also not feature the Nike Plate?
It's the same soleplate as the one on these.
Hey Josh wondering if you could do an adidas ace 17.3 camo pack review,
thank you
Unlikely at this point.
Do u wear same size
can u talk about about coutinhos shoe holethat he cuts in the heel of the shoe
I need some help and advice
I dribble with my left foot but shoot with my right and i want to learn a fast way to start shooting with my left foot
And just to leave a note i used to be able to shoot well with my left foot
Thank You
It's just a matter of practicing. The technique is the same on both sides.
Hey could you do a play test video on the AG studs on natural grass to see how well it does.
There isn't really much to see. Like I said in the video, it's a variation of the FG Tiempo stud pattern.
But because it's hollow, it might be weaker and can get dirt stuck in the holes.
Can u wear the magista obra 2 FG on AG will it break the boot or effect the player ?
I wouldn't recommend wearing any FG boot on artificial grass.
if i get the hypervenom phantom 3 low ag version, will they be ok on firm ground as well?
Yes.
which is wider out of the Adidas X 16.1 and the Adidas Ace 17.1?
They're very similar in width.
Are you going to do a play test video on this model?
Possibly.
Thanks Josh!
Would the ag stud pattern on the other Nike silos be usable on fg as well as these would be?
Yes. It's pretty much the exact same stud pattern across all 4 silos.
Thanks!
Does the sole plate change the fit and feel of the cleat? I'm a big fan I of the tiempos would this work?
I talk about exactly that in the video.
How do I tell if mine is real
Is it as agressive if i weight 42kg and i wear fg boots on artificial grass?
You should be fine.
I train on regular grass (FG) but I play on AG can i use both?
You can. I talk about that in the video.
Josh, what are your thoughts on El Classico?
I didn't get to watch today.
Nice vid
What hypervenom colorway is the boot in the 3rd row from top, the first one on the left?
Women's Motion Blur. Video coming soon.
Ok thanks
Pretty sweet
Nice
how are the messi 16.1 ag?
Finley Pickard old
I haven't personally tried them.
Have you met/been near to any pro players?
I mest Giroud and Cech at the evoPOWER Vigor 1 launch event. I can't say that I've played with any pro players outside of Canada or the US. Here and there in a practice or pick up type environment. That's about it.
Can i use this on grass?
Yes. I explain the video.
