@@baraaamir7891 the question is, is it? It's a great time to be alive for great boots that are called speed boots. But how speed boots are they?!???!? 🤯
I really like these! It’s been my go to lately since i got the blueprint. I do feel this zoom unit it’s a little more refined. Those small wave studs help and from what i saw on a break down the unit is articulated now which imo makes it mold better when running! The vapor 15 just felt like stepping on a wet rug seriously
The zoom unit is better I agree, the forefoot fins do seem to engage it a little bit more. The main difference in the unit from the previous generation is that it's now 1 larger air pocket instead of the same air pocket with multiple pockets inside that, also seems to make a difference. Glad you're enjoying them, sounds like more fun than a wet rug 😂😂😂
I agree with your review, really comfortable but me personally I feel like the lockdown on these aren’t that great. The previous gen imo had really good lockdown compared to these
I was able to snag a pair of vapor 15 pro ag for 75 bucks during Labor Day sale , and I’m super impressed with the comfort and upper, kinda wondering how they compare to vapor 16 pro’s.
Furon and F50 both great boots. But, both have a bit of width to them as well, however not as much as here. For an older speed boot feel in fit terms the Ultra Ultimate women's fit might be worth a look. Or just the ultra ultimate generally, it's one of the more aggressive speed boots out there.
I just played my first game in a pair of Vapor 16 elite.. basically, if you have narrow feet and really liked the fit of the Vapor 15, DONT GET VAPOR 16.. they are horrible and baggy! The sides are just disgusting and I’m just ending up with a load of super thin bunched up material were they have ruined the fit.. really not happy!
I wouldn't say they've ruined the fit, it's going to work for most people, unfortunately most people doesn't include narrow feet. I can see why you had those issues which is a shame :(
I have some takedown Puma reviews first, the King and the Ultra, and the Tiempo pro too, I'll review the Mercurial Pros eventually though, they're on the list.
Do you prefer these to the gx2 ags? I have those and the 15 ags and was wondering if it was worth getting the 16s since it’s basically an offspring of those 2. The new ultra ags have really got my attention
Ultra AGs look excellent. Haven't tried them but they are very interesting. In terms of preferences, I probably do prefer these to the GX2, I prefer the feel on the ball being that bit closer and the boot fits me better than the GX2 and the soleplate is stiffer here. But, it's a personal preference thing really.
What will be the best way to clean the white gripknit? I usually used soap and a soft tooth brush but I have to do like many scrubs and rinses to show just a decent clean. I saw your shoes and the white gripknit looks nice and clean.
The first advantage I had is that I've only used them on AG, so I've found them a lot easier to clean than if they were getting mud into them. However, they're still very hard to clean and I've been using a similar technique to you but also using a harder brush and a toothbrush as well for the review. I always try and make them look as nice as I can for the review. I wouldn't normally go as far as the toothbrush
Could you tell me if there is any slippage in the toebox area when you make sudden cuts or stops as it so soft and it feels like your feet would touch the upper
That's mainly going to be based on your foot shape and what size you buy, and what I'm talking about with lockdown. I don't have issues with my foot sliding forwards in the boot. If you have that issue definitely check your sizing. There should be as little space as possible while still being comfortable between the end of the boot and your toe.
would u recommend i could wear the elite verson of these boots if ive fit into puma ultra elites just fine? i have pretty wide feet and dont want to waste $260 just for my feet to hurt. i tried the vapor 15 but those hurt my foot way too often.
If you're talking about the current generation of Puma Ultra Ultimate they are probably slightly higher volume and slightly wider than these, however, these are going to stretch more to accommodate your foot with the soft material. Either way I think you should be okay.
Nice video. I have a question, why do some football cleats have different branding on the same type of cleat? For example a had some total 90's years ago and on the outer side it said "air zoom" but I've seen your review on that boot and instead of the "air zoom" yours had the "90" logo on it? And I've seen some that say "total 90iii" on them so that's three different versions. Would you happen to know why that is?
Can be one of 2 things. One is that they're different tiers, elite, pro etc as we have now, there are some boots that had extra features that would have looked different despite being top end also. The other is a graphics update. Most Mercurials do this still now, the Vapor 13 is a good example, launched with all the big text and then got a graphics update half way through it's life and that was removed.
@@BootWizard thanks for the reply, I think it's the second reason then, the graphics change even though it's the same boot.
