Jonathan W actually, the Z Move was pretty clever, as it bypasses protect. If Audino has used protect on this turn, it would have been put to 1 health.

At least there he could gotten a burn and chip of that last 1hp while the z-move gave the audino a chance to use pain split again. Especially as there where no reason to worry about the protect even coming up as he used it the turn beforehand and would therefore have a lower chance of using it again
