Man! This one had me at the edge of my seat lol. Clever play from the opponent, using a Z-Move to get around your evasion drops. It almost worked! Those EVs in Defense are definitely what saved your ass in all the times the moves DID hit haha.

I wonder if he'll pay attention to the story? I didn't watch him play through the first one so I don't know how he is with that. One pet peeve I have though, is people just rushing to the gameplay with a story driven game.
Dang six double teams and they still get enough hits in to force a rest every three turns, that's some mad luck even if they lost.

Mega Banette is strange. I think they should have either given it bulk OR offense and a more offensive ability. The way it is now it kinda does feel like they wanted to encourage you to use status moves to punish your opponent for outspeedng you.

@PIMPNITE strategy for you to use:
Disable + Encore.
Force enemies to struggle...
...or to keep switching
Prefered pokemon:
Salazzle (Timid, max DEF, max SPEED); moves: Encore, Disable, Substitute, Toxic; Corrosion ability.
If you can also place in some entry hazards (Sticky Web, Stealth Rock, Spikes) it would be amazing to watch opponent struggling to make decisions wether to swap or make pokemon struggle.
Other possible pokemon: Gardevoir, Gallade, Alakazam (with some fairy move instead of Toxic, so that they can do some damage outside of Encore/Disable combo).
The more Struggle you can manage to get in single battle, the better!
