Hello! Well the whole glass falls off upon taking the hit! is there anyway some pieces and mega chunks remain in the position like the glass should break on in the bats hitting trajectory making it real world sim! Any sugeestions? Btw great works!
To achieve this, render the animation in parts.Hide the fractured surface while rendering the part before the impact. Then, unhide the fractured pieces and render the part where the bat hits the glass. This ensures the glass appears intact until the moment of impact
Keep the original glass and simply key-frame it. When the bat hits the glass, you turn off the render icon in the Outliner and insert keyframe. This ensures that the original solid glass disappears as the cell fracture glass shatters.
If you are good, and have good portfolio, you can land pretty much anything. Be sure to learn other softwares that can compliment blender. Industry does not care what tool you are using. It cares about how good is your end out put
