I found a book called APPLIED KINESIOLOGY by Robert Frost that explains a lot of what Dr. Echols is doing. From what I can tell, he is pressing the origin point of the rectus femoris muscle along with the same side corresponding neurovascular point located on the side of the top of the head, above and behind the ear. Next he is pressing the insertion point of the rectus femoris muscle along with the same side corresponding neurolymphatic point located under the anterior inferior border of the rib cage. I wish I had known about this and had training in this YEARS ago to work on my wife and, if possible, myself. At 73, my days of going to school are over. I now wish there was someone near me that was this accomplished. Dr. E......PLEASE move to Fort Worth!
Thanks Jeff & Corrina! I very much enjoyed this video, but especially the quieter time when Jeff was just holding those points to help Corrina. It's a true testament to his patience that he would sit there, not rushing, and check in, making sure she was definitely alright before finishing.
Did he do a followup checkup, or discuss your previously diagnosed gall bladder issue & treatment status? And what was the 'magic powder' he gave you to take?
People who know what they’re talking about have a way of saying things eloquently and make you confident in what they are saying. This man does the opposite.
absolutely wonderful.I think those pain points turn off the muscles to try to protect itself but become chronic. He is resetting the normal flow of nerve signals to the muscle.Excellent video.
Yes, you can look up neurolymphatic reflex points. Also if you search our channel for Z Health, there are follow-along videos to improve your muscle response (like he did in this video but you can do it yourself).
8 years later......enjoyed your video. I understood the neurovascular point, the alarm point and the lymphatic point by locating them online, but I couldn't find what or why on the point you touched below the knee.. If you could fill me in or tell me where to look, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
So many Chiropractors, so hard to find a good one. There's quite a bit of diversity in types of treatments, training, etc. each use. Sure, they all know the basics, but the additional training varies greatly, its like there are no two alike.
Cheech & Chong back on tour!!! Muscle testing is interesting, but if there is no follow up we don't know if it truly caused the gall bladder to function better. Follow up with actual physical evidence either by PET, MRI, or even X-Ray.
Corrina was pretty surprised also. Her gallbladder (which handles fats and is stressed by fried foods, trans fats and basically junk food) issues indicate that even for someone with a pretty clean diet, the gallbladder can be stressed. The other issues were not diet-related.
The gallbladder issue was pretty surprising, considering Corrina's diet but the other issues were not diet-related. Also, we shoot massages and adjustments once a month or less, so she isn't literally getting adjustments and massages everyday.
Corrina helps to manage Psychetruth, which has thousands of videos, and thousands of subscribers. She's likely under immense stress, every day, and most massages she gets are instructional, not relaxtion. No, no one has "too many physical problems." We have the physical problems we have, some are lucky to have few, others not as lucky.
Hi Dr Echols. Thanks very much for the video, very interesting. I don't have any specific problems, at least not that I am aware of, but would like to have a consult with someone with skills in this specific field. Would you be able to recommend anyone in Brisbane, Australia please? If so I would really appreciate it. Thank you
This was a good one! Very interesting. Can we see more like this. This whole concept of muscles turned off is a new one for me. Does it happen to muscles elsewhere???
Where can I get that kind of treatment in my area? :o Wonder if this knowledge has reached my country (Finland) yet. :D Does this treatment have a specific name that I can try to google or ask about? I'll try "neurolymphatic reflex points" first of course. :)
there was definitely a gap in the knowledge translated between what you were doing and what you were telling us. What I saw was was a initial problem in the rectus femoris that other than initial testing was fixed based on trigger points found through muscle testing in the contralateral upper limb. How were those trigger points found from the testing in the upper limb? Also, other than the obvious origin and insertion points you found what on Earth did the muscles of the upper limb tell you to indicate a pressure point in the forearm and the rib cage, and a subloxation in the lower vertebrae (which i should remind people is fixing a problem in the lower limb on the opposite side of the body to where testing was done for most of the video), It honestly makes no sense to me. The answer must be Jesus; Jesus told him.
I had a friend who was getting a job somewhere and she watched a video about how our posture effects our mental stability. Weird, her Dad looks identical to him lol. Dead on.
Damn It! I just peed myself reading the comments and now I am seeing this video a lot differently. Now the things he says are crackin me up and her noises just make me pee more. I was sad because I couldn't go out to eat for veterans day. Now I am having a blast. Thanks guys. ; D
I see what you mean, but he's not guilty of doing anything wrong. He only misspoke. Had he said hip flexors instead of rectus femoris, everything he did was perfectly accurate. Instead of assuming he did everything wrong, you should just assume he misspoke. All of your criticisms are based on your faulty assumptions, not his lack of knowledge.
This guy is now also practicing kinesiology as a Chiropractor. Is he trained to do this and is it ethical? I doubt it, as it would be like going to an MD and having him say "oh sure, I can take care of your dental problems too."
yes, true. I got lucky. I have met many in my field at this point and he in my opinion is still the best. He has at least 30 years experience and is very detailed.
did not know muscles could be turned off. I am familiar with muscle testing where you stand up with one arm out parellel to the floor and by asking questions about the body and feeling the strength of the shouler muscles you can determine the answers about the body without the person speaking.
where can i find a chiropractor like you? i have one and he is not nearly as good as you and i am a athlete so i need a lot of help. how can i pick the right chiropractor?
It's so sad when reading all of these comments about how the doctor is touching her. This is medical, this is what is required to fix her problems and it's professional. It's easy to ridicule or accuse someone educated when you don't have an education yourself. I highly respect Dr Echols!
patience, assesment, diagnoses, hands on treatment and care, follow up, acupressure, and knowledge, OH AND LOTS OF MONEY! ha ha ha ha ha medical science is awesome..
Every time I see a clip of this guy, he his inappropriately touching someone. I thought chiropractors only do adjustments, not testing for other types of healing, like in osteopathy. He really makes me uncomfortable.
your probably the most proficient shooter on you tube.. i dig how you push the limit's of the precision marksmanship, for long range engagements.. i also like how you use the science of math and physics to achieve the desired effect down range. good to go man... keep shootin... and keep postin..
if you mute this video and play kenny rogers' "the gambler" in the background, you get the full experience!
Best comment ever!!!!
😆😂😆😂
🤣
i know it is quite randomly asking but do anyone know of a good place to stream newly released movies online ?
@Simon Azariah flixportal :D
This guy is in love with circuit breakers.

i'd say he found something other than the tender spot
Tell me about it
4 years later it still not the tender spot

He doesn't do anything unprofessional until he strips off completely and asks the model to massage him at 12.56.

what was the "special treat"? Liked this video and thought it was interesting, but I wasn't sure what the "special treat" was :)
Always like to see Dr. Echols videos. Thanks.
I too believe my own bullshit so much sometimes it becomes true.

Ill hit that spot you didint know was there - Jeff Echols

Thank you, Dr Jeff, this is very educational for me. Take care.
