THANK YOU BRO. I've spent MONTHS trying to figure out a way to record game chat and nothing worked that I seen on reddit or youtube. Came back today to see if there was any new vids within the past few months and came across this one. That in game setting to change it to speakers was the fix! Also helps that I was trying to do this specifically on cod as well lol. Thanks again though man this figured out my main issue with recording.
Thanks you for helping bro you help out my Yt channel through all of the tips and tricks and I appreciate it! We love you dude and keep doing what your doing or whatever you want
I remember on my Xbox one I was able to record gamechat and party chat with my captures( not even sure how i managed to set it up that way but it couldnt have been that difficult.)Now with my Xbox one X it either doesn't give you the option, or it's just too damn difficult to figure out. It's really annoying tbh. I'm just trying to record party chat audio with my captures because me and my friends do funny shit while gaming and having funny convos. Does anyone know what to do?? 😢
I've heard if you have an external HDD connected thats formatted to Media and save your clips there it should record party chat. You might need to figure out consoke audio settings. This is what I'm trying to figure out before I buy an HDD
Im wondering is there any way to record game chat AND your own voice in game chat without a separate mic? Whenever I plug my headset into the capture card, I cant use gamechat. But whenever I plug my headset into the controller, my capture card doesn't pickup my voice
Found a solution: Plug another mic (i used another headset) into the controller and just talk into both mics that way one you can talk in game chat with and one you can record your voice with
@@ItzNxvaif you getting a cap card you might as well just stream, then go onto twitch and clip it yourself. twitch automatically clips game and party chat
So if im understanding this correctly, you're bassically using your own mic to pick up the game chat? Wont it be recording the game audio twice since youll have too increase volume on your tv? Or is there a way too mute the game audio through the speakers but allow the voice chat?
I'm trying to regrow* my channel. Does anyone know if this works when using a Mirabox and OBS? I'm asking because this because my setup is very weird. I can't get my Bluetooth headset to connect to my, but I can get it to connect to Xbox. And OBS keeps stuttering the game audio. Meaning I have to use one wired headset on my PC, but also have the console's wireless headset on, just to stop the game audio from stuttering. Like I said, It's a weird setup that I've found no way around. This all means that if I want to capture my vocals, then I have to draw it in from my wired headset. But I can't hear anyone else in the chat because their audio goes to the wireless headset. Likewise, they can't hear me because I have to use my wireless headsets mic muted, because I'm using my PC headsets mic. It's a mess that I'm sure could be resolved if I could get one headset to work on both devices (Xbox and PC) at the same time.
The best thing to do is to use a capture card. You will split the hdmi signal with a hdmi splitter. One for the capture card for pc and one to your display. Once it's like that you can enable the audio on the "sound" panel on the pc itself and you will hear the sound from your console to your pc
And that way you only have to connect your mic to your controller just to still have a way to voice chat but you won't need to hear from the controller
Makes me mad that the PS5 allows you to stream your game with game chat (thru twitch) with no problem. You can hear everyone in your stream no matter what system they are on. No fancy set up. The only reason I haven't switched to PS5 is that I hate the PS5 controller. My daughter has a PS5 and when i must use her PS5 I can hear everyone in the stream. I am now starting to consider switching. Sony allows it but not Microsoft...wtf
You dont. @@og_jody that's only for a xbox party and only for people in your parry that included their audio. Unless you mean this "solution" that literally echoes through your TV and that's the method.
Are you recording the other player through your mic from the Speakers? I set all these settings but turned my screen volume down, I still only hear myself in twitch streaming.
I want to be able to capture clips and have the party chat audio in the clip. Right now I screen capture a clip it does audio for the gameplay and you can see everyone's icon in the chat however audio is not in the video for chat.
So.. when you set the COD setting to speakers rather than headset, you can still use your headset right? Does it affect any of the quality of surround sound?
PS5 needs nothing extra for game chat audio on your stream. No extra cables, no pc/laptop and no capture card needed. PS5 is literally content creator friendly. Also you can do light video editing for your recorded video content to upload to RUclips all done directly from the console itself. Party chat is different in which extra components would be needed.
The party chat audio isnt turned on automatically so you have to turn it on first before streaming so you can hear others, or other people arent including their audio. Ur welcome
