In lore Siege Tank crew s have to stick together on shore leave because basically the marines hate them (they think crucio operators cause more casualties on them than the foe does)

Really, this should have been the siege tank in Heroes of the Storm. So many fond memories of this and especially his SC1 counterpart.
Apparently Edmund Duke was the original Siege Tank hero they planned for. (Late comment, I know)

The voice actor for that unit is the awesomiest guy in the world. I'd give him kudos, but I can't find his name.
2 things:
1: The Siege Tank pilot sounds nearly exactly the same as he did in StarCraft II. Th-there's nothing wrong with it, but it *does* add to the nostalgia factor.
2: Is it me or does the pilot look like Heavy Weapons Guy from Team Fortress 2? Perhaps he could have quoted the Heavy or Tavish DeGroot, the Demoman, a bit...

That makes no fucking sense. SC1 has potato graphics and so does the character models. How exactly does something look cooler with LESS detail? Get that nostalgia out of your fucking head.
Luxai I mean it can happen, I rather Sprite Graphics to 3D Models, born in 1997 so wasn't there for SNES era. Same way I rather the SC1 Marine model, I like the simplicity in the single colour covering the armour.
I think it's just down to nostalgia. Speaking of old tech, what ya think of the 90's CGI portraits in the remaster?

He was just a lot more punchy in the first one. And his rendition of Flight of the Valkyries was incredible - better than the Viking's.
This one isn't bad, but it's too easy to compare to the original. I must admit, i kinda like the way the more 'colourful' characters of SC1 have stepped back to give others the chance to shine.

btw, the voice actor is Matt Samia, the cinematics director for starcraft. he did the voice for both games. i only know this cause he came into my work the other day and he told me himself.
