RT probably missed the scouting SCV that Flash sent ahead of his Marine attack at 5:13 when he said that Flash was very brave for sending out his marines because the Zerg could have made more lings. Flash was never at risk of losing his marines because of it.
I was never really into watching Brood War when Flash was in his prime. I've watched most of the tourney vods but for me personally, seeing Flash in real time is such a treat.
Snowballing in games is 100% a thing, especially in games like SC, and especially when it involves the economy (sneaking an extra base, getting some really good worker kills, etc).
Pretty sure FLash noticed that all the previous ASL TvZs were a stack of mutas harassing the terran's natural and there was nothing to be done about it. I'm glad he's bringing goliaths into the mix now.
I figure that's why some players are trying to make early wraiths work as well. Who isn't tired of all the muta games? Not just terran players, but they're terrible for viewers as well.

I've never really followed the Brood War scene at all. I got into the pro scene of StarCraft 2 years ago via Tastetosis castings, but I must say it has been incredibly fun to watch your enthusiasm about Flash's return. ^^ I've watched every one I've seen and I can't get enough! :D
Really want to see SK terran into battlecruisers with medic restoration and energy upgrade become a thing lategame tvz. Anytime someone goes battlecruisers they don't go for any upgrades not even yamato so it feels from layman perspective that the build is not utalized effectively. Best person using battlecruisers is Scan and Royal used it very well not last ASL but two season before that, the one he didn't win :/ But I don't think that means it's not a very good counter to lategame zerg, hope it's a matter of micro/macro routine adaptation, going out of your comfort zone to learn something new, how Bishop makes Wraiths work vs Mutalisks. Anyways thanks Artosis for all your casts, SCBW is my mental shangri-la.
From what I understand, the main issue is that battlecruisers want to be all over the map taking advantage of their air status, so they won't always be near medics to get restored.
@@Tungar111-mv2hw Good point, I think they could be used with flanking staying near the main bio forces but attacking and withdrawing over impassable terrain? Sort of like terran use siege tanks against lurkers, but since they are air they are more mobile.
lol I have caught every video ever since "FLASH IS BACK" daily... I was even getting bored sometimes and would let a couple weeks of artosis build up, then pick and choose, but I have checked EVERY video since flash lol
Currently Terran actually has slightly more wins past 27 minutes than Zerg do. It's true that their winrate caps out at about 14 minutes in, and turns back to zerg favoured after 19 mintes, but in extreme endgames Terran win more often than Zergs do at the ASL level. Hell, Terran also with ~60% of games on 4 player maps in TvZ now, but only 51% on 2 player maps, with a stronger advantage on adjacent spawns than cross spawns. I think all those stat calculations do show that Terran is a timing attack based race, but with an equivalent or slightly better endgame than Zergs. Mostly due to the absurd cost efficiency of SK Terran and science vessels. You'll see this in individual player stats too, on 4-player maps against academy rushes over the last 2 ASLs, Soulkey literally had a 0% winrate. He got all his ZvT wins exclusively on 2 and 3 player maps, by doing a lot of damage before the Terran gets out on to the map, or the Terran playing literally anything that wasn't SK Terran.
I would like to see Flash against an all-in 4pool or a B-rank Toss. Not just those schematic Pros who perform a build step-by-step with a timer in their hand. That would be a show. 😄

As a SC2 player and SC1 observer only, when I hear Terran Mech isn't viable right now, it makes me think...well, isn't that like 1/3 of the race's possible builds out the window up front? Is there more diversity in what they can do than what I'm thinking?

SC1 ghosts and bc's suck so much that it beggars belief that they weren't reworked until SC2. Also, missile turrets need a splash damage upgrade or something.
